We're a mobile DJ service that has provided music and entertainment for weddings, school dances, fundraisers, private and corporate parties for over 30 years. We're interactive! We can teach line dances (Electric & Cha-Cha slides, Cupid Shuffle, YMCA) and know how to keep the dance floor full. We include lights in ALL our packages and can also provide karaoke, video production and presentation (Projector & screen). We also have game show equipment (think center podium from family feud) that we have used for school fundraisers and corporate events. This is a tremendous team building and morale booster opportunity for the corporate client and parents love it at the school fundraisers. The questions are geared toward the type of knowledge their kids are learning (typically the "adult" questions are to hard) an helps make the event a fun experience for all.
The secret to keeping the party dancing all night long is understanding who is in the room. Knowing songs for ALL ages and which ones people like to dance to , playing a good mix of old and new is the key. When people are not dancing being able to teach line dances (Electric & Cha-Cha slides, Cupid Shuffle, YMCA) can help in getting the party started.
I mix old and new. I've been a "mobile" DJ for over 30 years and kept up with current music since 1985. I love playing current music like Bruno Mars but mix it with some Snoop Dogg and Usher just for fun. I'm a former "disco" dance instructor from the 70's & 80's but know music from the 40's through current hits.
I LOVE being able to help people have a great time listening to song selections and by also playing music they LOVE to dance to.
In 1983 my father was the commander of a VFW. He witnessed my experience in clubs and asked me to turn a "steak fry" into a "dinner dance". At that "dinner dance' I booked 3 weddings and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then we've done hundreds (500+) of events of which many clients keep coming back and referring us for other events. Many of these clients (schools, fundraisers, block parties) have been using us for more than 10 years and we have a number of families who have used for for not only ALL their kids weddings but anniversary parties as well.
We discuss with each client either in person by meeting or in phone conversations prior to booking what they expect at their event. We meet with 90% of our clients to both get to know them and understand what their expectations are for their event. To date 80% of our business is by referral. We have done hundreds of events. From weddings, to school dances ( elementary through High School), to private parties we do what needs to be done to make your party a FUN!! time.
