I wanted to start my own business so I could create prices that are affordable; not just affordable for those they have insurance. I actually only take PayPal (currently) and cash for local in person sessions. This way no one is treated differently based on their income or health insurance. The most expensive program I offer is $60 an hour which is cheaper then several Pennsylvania co-payments.
Clients should choose to work with me because I have 15+ years working in mental health. I recently started my own practice so I am new to being a business owner, not new to helping people become the best versions of themselves.
Services can be done via online or in person. All in person services are done in Sunbury PA. Since I work with a lot of victims of abuse and trauma I do not provide our actual location until after services are paid for. This is for the safety of all of clients. If an abuser knows you are working with Positive Peer Supports they will not know our address to find you, unfortunately they will know city and state as that’s all that is publicly known.
I have started doing online services in addition to in-person. Unfortunately touch therapy can only be provided in person. All others can be done both in person and online.
