I can honestly say this program saved my life! My alcoholism led me to lose everything good in my life. I entered the 30 day Partial Hospitalization Program in August and then stepped down to their Intensive Outpatient Program. The counselors are knowledgeable and genuinely care about your recovery. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to leave behind their drug and alcohol addiction and lead a better life! More...

Came directly from a rehab facility. Very welcoming. Easy payments, including most insurances. Started in the partial hospitalization program, where I was connected with community meetings and tons of information. Also gave me a chance to get a new job and transition into Invision recovery house. The counselors where very professional, yet fun at the same time. Helped me turn my life around. More...

I am a recovering alcoholic who thought he had the answers to everything. My addiction to alcohol began to have physical repercussions and so I quit. I quit drinking, but never began to get SOBER (physically, mentally, and spiritually) until I began to open up to a counselor at New Insights II. I found things out about myself that I either didn't know, or never wanted to believe, which was disconcerting, but I also found HOPE in the future. I found out that being strong didn't mean NOT asking for help. I was encouraged to find strengths in my own self that I didn't know I had. I always was a good person, but my fears and bravado kept me from allowing me to be the BEST person I can be today. Tomorrow I believe I will be a smidge better. Thanks to all the staff at New Insights II I never felt like a "second class citizen" and I wasn't treated in a condescending manner. I wanted to become a healthier person, and I received amazing guidance and insight (ironically :) ) to forge a path using my past as learning experiences to build a better life on. More...

The staff from front to back are so kind, non-judgmental, and i felt that they genuinely cared about my well being, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate to my living situation and financial situation and still made it work out for me the best they could. My counselor Scott was incredibly kindhearted, down to earth, and not only helped me with my substance issues, but he also wanted to help boost my overall morale for my life in general. I felt that he deeply cared about the well being of his clients and wanted to help us as much as he could. It is a good feeling to have someone behind you pushing you to become a better person when you make mistakes in life, and Scott had my back. Id recommend Scott and the entire New Insights II to anyone searching for an alcohol or chemical abuse program, they will make you feel at home and part of the team and genuinely care about your quality of life and how to make it better, thank all of you and especially Scott! The counseling staff is fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and supportive. 3 hour group meeting are held each evening as well as on the weekends. Topics include: daily check ins, identification of alcoholism and addiction as a disease, art therapy, fun with recovery, and the family in recovery. In my 45 days in the program I was able to have all of the counseling staff for evening group meetings as well as personal 1 on 1 meetings. I have the utmost respect for the job they do. They do what they do because they love it and want you to succeed. I look forward to remaining in contact with and love all of them. More...

I have to admit that that is the first place I have been to like that in my experience there was awesome they make you feel like a person and I have learned so much from them that even though I did not drink a whole lot it's what I was doing when I drink that was the biggest problem and made me an alcoholic I can honestly say that they have changed my whole way of thinking about a lot of stuff whether it be about myself or who I'm hanging out with Iowa huge huge thank you to Ed helping me because he put it all in ways that I would understand and most people in his position speak straight from the book and he doesn't he does it in ways that that individual would understand I want to thank all the staff there for helping me and are still helping me

Before enlisting in the Partial Hospitalization Program offered at New Insights I was unable to recognize that I was an addict. Having attended other treatment facilities I should have realized this long ago. I had no problem admitting to an "addictive personality", but that was as far as I was willing to go. I'm not exactly sure why after so many years I was finally able to recognize and admit - I AM AN ADDICT. One thing I am sure of is this: the staff at New Insights (particularly my counselor) played a major role in helping me come to this realization. I found the entire staff at the clinic to be friendly and caring. And although I don't feel every one of the counselors would have been a good fit for me, I do feel all of them are capable counselors and have their expertise. More...

I am writing as a family member of someone who was treated at New Insights in Lemoyne. Having a loved one struggling with an addiction is scary and you feel alone. Ed was always willing to speak to me and help me with any questions or concerns that I had along the way. He also encouraged the family sessions on Sunday, which I found to be very helpful to both my son and I. Ed helped me understand addiction in a way I had not before. New Insights took the time and energy to really help and not just treat you like you were just a number. Ed has continued his support even afterwards which really says a lot. More...

I loved this place because it gave me the best opportunity to save and change my life. The staff in general are all great friendly people. They make it easy for you to want to continue with the treatment you are receiving, never judging you for the problems you are going through in life. The counselors they are very knowledgeable on what they are teaching and all specialize in something different to give you the tools to fight recovery. They will push you to bring the best out of your recovery. New Insights 2 is the only partial hospitalization program in the area that allows you to work 40 hours a week at your job and still be able to go to classes and meeting to aid in your recovery. To me this was the only place I considered after reviewing my options because of what they offered and that I could still provide for my family and get my life together at the same time. Providing you with the balance an structure that all addicts need to lead a clean and productive recovery. More...
