I offer in-depth, holistic psychotherapy and EMDR. Most people come to me for issues largely related to anxiety/stress, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. However, those I work with also tend to be struggling with difficult life transitions, existential issues, shame, unhealed wounds from childhood, anger, grief, escapism/substance abuse, and codependency. Lastly, I run a weekly support group for Adult Children of Narcissistic Parents.
If you've landed on this page, you can stop your search because you've found a gem. I've taken good care of my mental health all of my life and Alex is hands down the best therapist I've ever worked with. My husband and I have been seeing Alex together for a year and a half and his ability to understand our dynamic and make thoughtful, action-oriented observations and suggestions has been so refreshing and helpful. He's an emotionally intelligent straight-shooter who has been able to connect dots we didn't know needed connecting. I've always left his office feeling heard and with a clear understandings of what steps to take in order to move the needle on whatever challenge we had discussed. He's talented and thoughtful -- get in while you can!

Harmony is a gifted teacher and healer. She uses dance and movement as a door into deeper self-awareness and a more solid connection with oneself and others on the dance floor.I have had several sessions with Harmony, each of which has provided insight and healing. Not only have these sessions provided more fluidity, comfort and joy on the dance floor, they have also given me fascinating look into the deeper processes that are always going on when people dance together, and to my style in particular. Her sessions offer a combination of dance technique and awareness, blended with a deep look at the underlying processes that affect and create an individual's dance style. She suggests various movement exercises and then watches or joins to see what the client's body has to tell. Through deep and slow physical inquiry, Harmony manages to gently unearth some of the psychological processes that are underneath the nuances of an individual's movement. It is a fascinating exploration as Harmony slows the process down for a detailed look. She has a refined sense of subtle awareness of a partner's body movement, tension patterns or energy. As we dance together, Harmony inquires about details or patterns she notices. I am very happy that I did these sessions with Harmony!
I would recommend Lynn to anyone who is looking for a therapist who is easy to talk to, calming and empowering at the same time.
After experiencing sexual trauma, it can feel like nothing makes sense. Your body is reacting with anxiety, exhaustion, and pain (or feeling nothing at all). You feel like everyone has an idea how you ‘should’ act. You might even feel like you have to offer ‘proof’ by telling your story or letting others see your pain. There may be a part of you that wonders if it’s your fault (believe me, it's not).
