I've traveled long and far across this state in the search of great BBQ. Little did I know that some of the best BBQ was right here in Corpus Christi. I had a brisket and sausage plate, which was plenty, along with beans and potato salad. The brisket was moist. You could also see the smoke ring and could taste the flavor that was deep into the meat. It is not the cheapest BBQ plate in town but I can tell you that it is the best in town. If you're in Corpus Christi during the weekday, stop by there.

The food was excellent! I had the blackened drum with dirty rice and it was cooked beautifully and seasoned. My favorite was the shrimp and grits! The down side was We waited and didn't get seated so we sat ourselves and about 10 minutes of waiting at our table we asked someone to wait on us. We were waited and served by Cheyenne who was bubbly, sweet and super personable. She was great with our kids and that makes a big difference . She was excellent and service is huge to me but I can say the food was amazing and we will be going back

In October we got the bay view Jr suit. And the view was awsome. Everything is walking distance. The beds and pillows were comfortable. My room was clean. A/C was cold shower was hot. Looks like it was remodeled and complete. Staff was friendly. The next day they granted us more time to check out. be cause our car broke down. You do have to pay 6 bucks a day for parking. But hey its downtown. I recommend this hotel. But if your a snooty person don't get this hotel. Leave it to the the ordinary Joes like me thanks lol.

What should I look for when choosing a Caterer?
It is important to know the following before deciding on a catering company:
Event Specialists - Many caterers handle certain types of events on a regular basis, such as weddings and corporate events.
Different cuisines - Caterers might specialise in different kinds of cuisine. Some caterers may provide a fine dining experience while others excel at barbecues that suit company picnics.
Special requirements - If you have special requirements for the food or a specific menu in mind make sure your caterer is happy to meet those requirements.
Venue - Your gathering might be taking place at someone’s home, a venue or outdoors. It can be helpful if your caterer has worked at the venue before.
Tastings - Ask for a tasting to make sure the food is of a high standard. Most caterers will prepare one for you at no charge, allowing you to assess the quality of their cooking before you hire them.
How do I check a Catering Company’s credentials?
You could look for caterers with a foundation degree, higher national diploma or degree in Professional Cookery and Culinary Arts.
