We are an horseback riding facility on the beaches of North Padre Island Corpus Christi. We've been here since 2009 and have recently moved to our new location between Corpus and The National Seashore.
We specialize in family fun horseback riding on the beach, as well as, offer corporate party and team building events.

horribly rude we made our apt about 20 hours before the ride. we scheduled an appointment for four people. But my son fell ill the day of due to a chronic hereditary illness. He was unable to make it, and I called and they said that would be OK. At the end of the ride they told me to call the manager to get a refund on my sons ticket which is very grateful for. When I called, I talk to Jean. She told me she didn't care about my sob story. She swore at me repetitively and told me to get over it, but I will not get a refund. when I asked to talk to the owner, she told me that he didn't wanna listen to my SH@&. I tried to be extremely kind to her, considering she was such an angry person. But she was the most rudest person I've ever dealt with in my entire long life. She told me she didn't care about my son, and she told me he didn't care about my story And I wasn't going to get a refund. Even though the lady at the desk told me I would. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff! I'm in Texas for work and decided to get out of the city a bit, it had been quite some time since I had been back on a horse and they were great at reminding clients how to properly handle their horses and tack while riding, as well as telling us about the horses personalities! Such a FANTASTIC time! The whole experience was wonderful. This will a thing I do with my little nephew every year. We rode for 1. 5 hours and wow, if I had chosen the shorter ride I would have regretted not opting for the longer ride. This was a very cool experience! They let you pick your preferred horse personality (either spicy or chill). Though we have been riding a dozen of times, my friend and I both picked chill horses because we were not as experienced as some of the other riders in our group and our horses were great! The beach was really pretty. My only wish was that we could have separated from the group the tiniest bit instead of being together the whole time. But I would definitely go again! More...

We had a group of 10 (5 kids and 5 adults). Between the guides, photographer, and sweet horses we had an amazing time! It was one of the best horseback riding companies we've rode with. Highly recommended!!

Such a fun once in a lifetime experience! We throughly enjoyed riding the beautiful horses on the beach. The only complaint would be that there were a lot of people on our ride and we had to wait quite a while to get everyone onto their horses and ready to go. Plan not to start riding until half an hour to forty five minutes after your start time. Make sure to use the restroom and drink water before you get there, as stated in their email and website there are no bathrooms onsite. My husband had a very rowdy horse and had to switch horses with one of the guides halfway through. My daughter and I had very laid back horses that were very gentle and calm. If you are a novice rider or a bit nervous ask for a laid back horse. The guides were very young, but very nice and professional. They all seemed happy to be there. They are in the process of moving locations so there is a bit of construction going on. We also never saw the petting zoo which is on the website, that may have already been moved. The horses seem in good health and are all rescues. We will definitely we back next time we are in corpus. More...

I was semi inexperienced but was given a horse that had a temper (Bandit). He was nipping at other horses and would not follow my direction (left, right, pull back to slow down). The girls who were in charge of the excursion were complaining to other employees about how they hate working the weekend taking guests out horseback riding on the beach. When we were coming back from the ride down the beach, one lady said to not get behind the horse when you get off. Minutes later, another employee told a young boy under twelve to get off the horse and walk behind the horse and "give it a little smack on the behind". Those are two totally different instructions. Employees were not in sync with each other. A lack of communication. Bad customer service. They were all young ladies. My fiancé asked for a laid back horse but was given Dallas. Everything was great after I got another horse because the first horse was not having it. The walk to the beach was so peaceful and had a wonderful conversation with one of the instructors. We just talked and talked and she really made my day. Thank you to the lady with the long braid that works there. I forgot to get your name but thank you so much . You truly are good people. What a great little operation. The horses are great and you can tell most importantly they are well taken care of. The ride was nice and so great being by the beach. The guides were super courteous, helpful and patient with beginners. No matter your skill level, I think this is something all can enjoy.Tip: we were told that GPS would not get us there correctly and tried by going by their instructions which fit us lost. Highly disappointing. Would not recommend! We were here about 7 years ago and it was a great ride. We had a small group and spent most the time in the water with the horses and had freedom to move them, we have always wanted to come back. Today we finally did. Boy what a let down. What a let down. We were so excited to have the same experience and it was NOT even close! We will not be back. First we waited about 45 mins in the hot sun for them to load 20+ ppl (way to many!!!) Then we proceeded to barely move on the horse having to stay all in a line in the most crowded beach I’ve ever seen. We walked to the picture spot (that created a traffic jam at the beach with our large group of 20+ horses). The pictures are rushed they don’t tell you when it’s being taken. Then you turn around and head back. No riding in the water, no clear view of the beach, no chance to move faster than a slug. Then we get back and they have all the pictures printed to show them to you and say they are $10 each and they are throwing them away if not purchased. They should be free for the $75. I’m honestly not sure I would do it again if someone one paid me. I brought 5 teenagers with me and now feel like I have to make the day up to them since I told them this would be fun. We absolutely enjoyed our time time. It was everything with thought it would be and more. The perfect horse was chosen for my spouse and I. the ride was amazing I loved it the horses were really nice and I got a chance to ride a horse without any trouble which I don't get at home because my horse joker wont let me and when he does its really rare cause he's stubborn but the horses here will. oh and they have two rides an afternoon one and a sunset ride which I think is really cool the afternoon ride was one hour long and the sunset ride was an hour and a half long and if you ride both of them you get to rid two horses unless you want to ride the same horse which is fine but really cool. oh and you get to get a picture on the beach there really good horses good people great view and you get to see jellyfish on the sand there's lots of people so times it its just a really amazing ride I just really really love it and then after the ride you get to buy your phots for only 10 bucks and you get to take it home in a nice little holder you know you really could not ask for any better place. I love it also there open the hole year except Christmas day. amazing I just love it. the horses I rode Astro and blue duck Astro was a little horse that was red with black hair and blue duck was a whiteish blueish with a pink nose and he was a little bigger than Astro. Astro had a little space bubble so when a horse got to close to him he did kick a little but that's ok and blue duck was being a bit of a knucklehead to boo Shong he nipped his neck a little bit but that was only once the other times he just put his ears back like an angry horse would do but i pulled him away before he could bite boo Shong again. the rides were really great can't wait to go again i hope you guys likes my review and i loved the horses see you guys next time More...

Went for a sunset ride last night, 12-29-21 and it was absolutely amazing! To be on a horse again was the best way to wind down my day. Staff and wranglers were friendly and very attentive to the large group that went. I will definitely be going back a lot of times! Already planning my next ride for next Wednesday evening.
