From start to finish the Modern Events Catering staff was attentive and accommodating. We wanted a mostly vegatarian focused menu and they created an out-of-this-world menu for our visiting friends and family to enjoy. Planning a destination wedding is quite a challenge and finding a partner like Modern Events was truly a lifesaver. Sury was phenomenal every step of the way and Chef Yoder impresses is over and over again with every bite. We had after church brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. We heard that the fish and chips are good and they were. The menu was very appealing and the service was great. We only had a 5 minute wait for a table. Our server, Taylor, was very helpful and attentive. I also had the Ceasar salad and it was very good. Cloth napkins--classy!

Nellie's did such a great job!! Terri and Kathy were there to help us with EVERYTHING, not just catering. We worked with them with vendors, decor, planning, rehearsal, day of coordination, absolutely everything. There was not a single glitch in our wedding thanks to Terri and Kathy. Everything was way more amazing than I ever could have imagined it. I had some pretty crazy ideas when it came to decor and setup but they made it all happen! Our menu was not your traditional wedding food but Nellie's did a tasting with us and everything came out perfect! We had different types of kebabs, a raw bar, rice, roasted veg, bread & salad. All the staff were so friendly too. I could not recommend Nellie's enough.

First time visiting there just decided to walk in and check it out I must say the food is fantastic ....the bartender James was very knowledgeable he made it very pleasant for me about the food we talked about my family coming for dinner he said anything we need he will do for you I never felt so well taken care of he's definitely a keeper will see you again James sir reserve a table family of four make sure you have my Opus One..

When I first walked in, I waited for over 10 minutes for SOMEONE...ANYONE to assist me with the piece of cake that I wanted from the glassed-in pastry display area and a small bottle of wine. Apparently, you won't get served unless you HAVE A SEAT. (Then how can I point out which cake slice that I'd like...much less KNOW THE NAME of that one piece of cake that didn't look like the rest of the individual cake slices. I was about to just order the wine and leave. LUCKILY, AFTER I TOLD SOMEONE OF MY FRUSTRATION and they told me they'd bring it to me and to take a seat, I met a young man named Marius. Marius was our waiter for Valentine's Day. He was kind and gave us WONDERFUL SERVICE. There was a waitress with frizzy auburn hair pulled into a bun, she interrupted me as I was telling him "Happy Valentine's Day" and was complimenting him for his professionalism that MANY PEOPLE LACK. They are LUCKY to have him work for them. The other employees were unhelpful and seemed to have angry and jealous looks on their faces with acts of unprofessionalism. If it weren't for Marius and his charm, I wouldve left SO MANY TIMES.
