California wines brought to Wisconsin Don't be fooled by the appearance of this business /office building, it contains one of the finest wine-tasting facilities in WI--a comfortable and warm atmosphere serving smooth-tasting California wines and staffed by knowledgeable, friendly people. I have been to most of the wineries available in southern and mid-Wisconsin and this has some of the finest wines available. Highly recommended

I had to plan an office lunch for 60 people in 2 days. I called Frankies after seeing their reviews and vast menu selection. They were able to meet my needs - thank goodness! We ordered the Fajita Bar plus a dessert. On the day of delivery, the team was very friendly and got lunch set up quickly. Our staff instantly started talking about how good the food smelled, and boy did it! Also, I was so impressed with the number of toppings they provided and the amount of each. There was plenty of food for everyone, and the team loved it - the consensus was that it was "flavorful but not spicy hot". The meat was tender, and the steak was not chewy or fatty like you get at most places. I will definitely order from Frankies again and will keep them at the top of my list.

We had a fabulous experience with Gracious Events Catering. My husband and I were married this summer and hired Gracious for our catering, floral and day of wedding coordination. Vesna was an absolute joy to work with and, as her name describes, incredibly gracious throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding she checked in with us several times to ensure everything was running smoothly for us. She even met us right after the ceremony with celebratory champagne! Vesna is very responsive and a fabulous communicator and our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and the beautiful flowers. She is a real gem! If you're looking for someone with exquisite taste and attention to detail, I would highly recommend Gracious! They truly did a fantastic job!

Not the most appealing exterior, but the food was delicious and wait staff great. Empanadas flavorful and bread to meat ratios good. The green sauce that comes with every dish was so good they should sell it. Try the Inka Paella, the rice is perfect and seafood cooked perfectly. Will be going back again soon.

The Astor Hotel in Milwaukee is AMAZING for ceremonies and/or receptions. It looks like the Pfister, with ivory and gold trim and elegant chandeliers, but is much less expensive. I was married on a Sunday and saved SO much money. It was not only the most beautiful place in Milwaukee, but there were three rooms total I could use. It is a convenient location with ample parking for free and just minutes from the lake. The biggest upside were the windows. Most banquet halls are ugly with no outside light. The Astor has big beautiful windows and mirrors, making the sunlight hit every angle of the room.
I would recommend this location for anyone getting married in Milwaukee on a budget but still wants something amazing. The food was outstanding. All we got from our guests were compliments about the food and service. The Astor Hotel really outdid themselves and I was so thankful to have found them.
