I invited Tia to be the photographer at the birth of my last baby, and I couldn't be happier. Not only did she take the most beautiful, tender pictures, she even helped wipe meconium off of the baby when she saw it needed to be done! Having someone who's not in your family be present while you are in labor can make you feel pretty vulnerable, but I felt totally at ease with Tia there. She was able to capture intimate moments without us even being aware--like a photography ninja! She was warm and totally present with us at the birth without getting in the way of anyone else's role or job. VERY professional. After we returned from the hospital, Tia came to our home to snap some pictures of our family with the baby. I couldn't believe the shots Tia was able to get with our rather stubborn 2.5 yr old. She is awesome with kids and adults alike--it was the most painless family photo shoot I have ever experienced. I can't say enough good things about Tia. She knew of so many great sites for photos in Big Cottonwood Canyon and we even trusted her to pick our ceremony site in the canyon day-of based on the best backdrop and lighting. Our photos were done in less than two weeks and are of incredible quality. I love that she uses two cameras, one which takes more landscape type photos and the other more for portraits. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and would choose to use her again.

We had an amazingly positive experience - Jeannine was very flexible from the beginning and was happy to reschedule our session to Sunday from Saturday when there were forecasted showers despite it being Mother’s Day! We had a fussy baby for part of it but Jeannine was patient, and rather than taking a break when he needed some time, she took some head shots of my husband to make sure we were using our time to its full potential. Our photos came back to us 5 days before expected and there were hundreds of shots, many beautiful edits and lots of raw images to choose from. I have always enjoyed photography. As a child I taped the window in my moms sewing room with black garbage bags & after taking portraits, developed the film & contact printed them. From their my love for the art grew. To put myself through college I delivered & sold photo supplies to photographers & drug stores. I finally went to school & got a degree in photography & tutored under the wings of a professional photographer. In 1985 I opened my studio.
