After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Photography, I spent three years traveling the world, visiting over 25 countries, and documenting my experiences. Now rooted in New Orleans, I’ve created Nola Darlings, a company that strives to create beautiful imagery that’s inclusive of all people. In my first professional years, I photographed for Orlando Magazine working with the city's top chefs, restaurants, and businesses.

I’m a journalist by training and a photographer by passion. I love meeting new people, executing great ideas, and giving clients photos they’ll remember forever without going into debt. I have a primary career that I’m happy with and that pays the bills, so I don’t need to charge an arm and leg for my photos. You still get all the quality (and more) of pricier options, a quick turnaround on pictures, and you can still go out to that restaurant or buy yourself that outfit.

I haven’t always been a photographer, but I’ve always prioritized self expression like a lifeline. Believe it or not, but my background consists of military and law enforcement. I was a New Orleans Police Officer when I fell in love with photography in 2018. Not knowing I had undiagnosed PTSD, I had begun to lose all sense of self and hope as the work I chose piled boulders on my shoulders daily.
