What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Of course skill and quality equipment are crucial, but what makes an extraordinary picture is the ability to 'see' and capture the essence of your subject!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What's important to you? What does the vision/end product look like in your mind? What's your budget? (Budget is important because it gives the framework for all of the creativity!) Then, when and where?
What do you love most about your job?
I love people and their stories. Using my skills to capture the essence of them, and their moment in time, with my creativity and photography is what makes me tic! And because everyone and every vision is unique, my job never grows old!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been starting and running my own businesses since I was quite young. I think it's all part of my 'creativity.' My greatest success was the performing and visual arts school I founded and ran for over 20 years. It has gone hand and hand with my founding of Icon Imagine.

I will be your advisor and creative resource before; your photographer, wrangler, and problem-solver the day of; and your friend after - excited to celebrate and relive your day with you when I deliver your album.

I obviously must 'shoot' and coordinate in person, but your gallery and products are delivered online or via mail (depending on the product.) Consulting, planning...and chatting can happen via the phone, online or in person!
Wedding Photography
As journalistic wedding photographers, we want to document every moment of your wedding day. We are more than photographers, we are your storytellers. It is our job to record not only the traditional moments you've planned, but everything else in between. The little looks, the smiles, the nods and winks, the hiccups and the tears and joy. Knowing weddings are all about love and relationships we want you to see that when you look back at your wedding day photographs. We are committed to telling your story through uncontrived, emotion-driven photographs that will reflect the real events and genuine interactions as they happened. We want to create a family heirloom for you, and your children, and your children’s children to look back at and see your day - exactly as it unfolded.
Portrait Experience
For Icon Imagine, the Portrait Experience is just that...an EXPERIENCE. Always looking for your story, we love learning about you and what you love before our shoot begins. This enables us to collaborate with you on location, wardrobe, and any fun ideas you may have in mind. During our session, you can expect us to shoot both posed and candid images. Though a formal photo looks great on the wall, we have found the dynamic interactions that happen in between shots are equally, if not more, engaging. So we do both! Keeping with our storytelling model, every Portrait Experience receives a mini commemorative album filled with posed, candid, and even a few behind-the-scene images from your day. We're all about making memories...and ensuring you remember them!

We absolutely love imagining magical events that invite your guests into the very heart of your dreams! From the moment they step out of their car til the moment they step back in, it is our goal to take them on a journey that will stir their senses and create timeless memories that will forever reside within their hearts. Your vision colliding with our imaginations, is where the fun begins and where your dream will soon be realized. What will each person attending see, hear, smell, touch, feel... Every element should not only encompass your story, it should also create a new and unique story for each and every guest...stories we hope they will tell and retell for years to come!
