What do you love most about your job?

The wildlife, hands down. While many look at what I do and think I'm just here to "get rid of it" that is not the case at all. While yes unfortunately some individuals must be dealt with my ultimate goal is to resolve a wildlife issue in such a manner that others of their kind are prevented from continuing to be a problem and there is no need for repeated problems needing to be dealt with.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After almost a decade in the wildlife control industry as a senior training manager in a midsized multistate corporation I chose to leave the corporate manager/technician/sales business model. I took my years of knowledge and skill and set out to focus on the one thing I truly loved that is so often lost in the corporate setting. That is the provider/client relationship of one on one problem solving. I like solving problems for people not so much the corporate sales percentages or route efficiency of servicing accounts. A client to me is not an account but a person in need with a problem to be solved.

Why should our clients choose you?

Because I'm the best at what I do! Did you really think I would say something different? If I didn't have the confidence to say that I would go do something else. And trust me that same confidence also informs me of exactly what I cannot do and I won't blow smoke and make claims to the contrary. So ask me any question and you'll get a straight answer. If I know it I will tell you, if I don't then I'll that I just don't know.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes and No. The bulk of my services is hands on trapping, capture and control of wildlife plus services to prevent or deter future wildlife issues.
However, that last part of prevention and deterrence often times can be a DIY project for the property owner. Things such as habitat modification or erecting barriers such as fencing. In this regard I am more than happy to assist with online or phone consultation. I'm not stingy with my advice as I feel that helping where ever I can is a reward in and of itself.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Covid has not greatly impacted my business as most of my work is done out of doors often in the landscape away from direct client contact. Of course in this time of social distancing I have had to limit some of the more thorough structural inspections such as entering homes to inspect attic and basement interiors.
