I was lucky enough to indulge in Castaway Cuisine's delicious food on two separate occasions. First our HR department had them come out and serve our entire production plant lunch for our biannual safety lunch. The food was incredible and many of the employees mentioned it was by far the best luncheon we ever had. Then I was lucky enough to run into them again at a charity golf scramble. Chef Mike does a great job and the portions are fantastic. You can't beat the value and quality of Castaway Cuisine. I highly recommend them for your events or private part.

Our group was traveling to St. Louis from Ohio for an event at the America Center for the week ending July 4th. We rented a space to have a luncheon for 35 people on Thursday. I spoke with 3 caterers and 3 local restaurants and Chef Rae with In Da' Kitchen really stood out!
First off, Chef Rae's customer service skills are top notch! Her communication is timely, her menu suggestions were perfect for what we were looking for, and she had great vegetarian options, so we could make sure that all of our guests had a great meal!
On the day of the event, Chef Rae arrived to set up on time, was very professional, and just as friendly in person as she was during our communication leading up to the event. You can really tell that she takes pride in the food she prepares for you.
Now let's talk about the food! The quality and flavors were spot on! The meal was delicious and there was plenty of food for people to go back for seconds (and thirds!). The empty pans told the story of a group of happy people with full bellies! The leftovers we did have were eagerly taken to be enjoyed later. Which really says something, since we were all staying in hotels!
I would highly recommend hiring In Da' Kitchen to cater your next event! Chef Rae was a pleasure to work with and prepares top quality and delicious meals! (Don't snooze on the brown sugar butter rolls!) My only regret is that we don't live locally, because I would definitely hire her again!
