We COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with our choice of reception venue. Not only was the food delicious and the space pretty and large enough to accommodate a big party, but we really enjoyed working with the staff (our reception was at the St. Louis city location, and we worked mainly with Kelly, one of the owners). The icing on the (wedding!) cake was the value. We literally got everything we wanted in terms of the reception and didn't feel like we were breaking the bank. We had a large wedding (300 people) but still wanted to stay within a budget as well as we could. Kelly was phenomenal--she listened to what we wanted, worked with us to fit our budget, and had some great suggestions and ideas. She was really flexible when it came time to figure out setting up our centerpieces. She and her team did a great job--I sent pictures of how I wanted the tables arranged and they nailed it. The Christy offered a lot of options on food--we had a cocktail hour accompanied by appetizers, and we also opted for a premium bar. We got a lot of compliments on all of the above (the food especially), and we also got a deal on our cake through a partnership of the Christy's. Like I said, we got everything we wanted! I am so so so glad we chose the Christy-- I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Its also worth noting that the bar doesn't discriminate against those with Irish roots - their selection of Irish whiskey doesn't rival the single malts, but its more than adequate to satisfy those who don't enjoy the peat, and their bourbons fill out the very well stocked bar.

Best pizza I've ever had. In what is essentially the Chipotle of pizza, Blue Box gives you the option to make your own personal pizzas, letting you choose everything from type of crust to toppings to sauce. The best way I can think to describe Blue Box pizza is "cartoon pizza" because when you pick up a piece the cheese drips off like it does in cartoons. The crust is brushed with honey that caramelizes in the oven and leaves an incredible final taste in your mouth. Family-owned, high-quality, fast and casual restaurant. They've only been open a couple of months and I've already gone four times to this ideal lunch or dinner date spot.

We then offer to set up a tasting and let them taste any 3 dishes they would like from our menu or just from what we would suggest from talking with them. We specialize in custom menus for each client. We LOVE making new dishes for each client and coming up with different dishes that will wow their guests! Its absolutely our passion!
Working with the clients! We get to know our clients and their families most times. Its an absolute bonus to this job. Then making dishes and coming up with custom menus for them from what they have told us about themselves just makes our day.

From the special touches like making hand made radish roses for events or fruit and making sure they are happy not only before and during the event, but sending a card or a special note after to thank them for using our service and to thank them for letting us get to know them and be a part of their special day or event.
