What do you love most about your job?

I love transforming a blank space into a celebration that reflects each client’s unique story. Seeing the joy on a couple’s face when they walk into their decorated venue, or watching families come together in a space we’ve designed for them, is the most rewarding part of what I do. Every event is different, and I love bringing creativity, organization, and heart into each one to make it unforgettable.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My inspiration came from a love of bringing people together and creating memorable celebrations. Growing up, family gatherings were the heart of our life, and I wanted to build a business that gives others that same sense of joy and connection. Lone Star Events & Hall was born out of a passion for design, organization, and community — turning life’s milestones into experiences people will cherish forever.

Yes! While our venue services are in-person, we also offer remote planning and coordination. We can meet virtually to design event layouts, build custom décor plans, coordinate vendors, and create timelines. Many of our clients take advantage of online consultations, digital mood boards, and planning checklists, making it easy to plan celebrations even if you’re not local. This is especially helpful for out-of-town clients hosting events in the Coastal Bend.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

The health and safety of our clients and their guests is always a priority. We follow CDC and state guidelines by providing enhanced cleaning and sanitation of all event spaces and rentals, offering flexible floor plans for social distancing when requested, and ensuring hand-sanitizer stations are available throughout the venue. We also work closely with caterers and vendors to maintain safe food handling practices. In addition, we offer virtual consultations so clients can plan their events with peace of mind.
