Andrea Lyn Events was founded in January 2021 after a hiatus in professional event planning post having 4 kids in 6 years! Andrea Lyn graduated from Mizzou with a Hospitality Management degree. She worked at Les Bourgeois on their event staff, was a student manager at the Gathering Place Bed & Breakfast and worked various roles at The University Club of MU before finishing as the Wedding & Private Events Coordinator.
When approached in November 2020 to plan and host a Covid wedding, Andrea Lyn fell right back into the swing of professional event planning. She and her husband, Jonathan, looked at each other and realized, "why not take the step and start our business we've always wanted to?" Thus they began Andrea Lyn Events and began designing and executing events all around Columbia. From small intimate gatherings to large corporate events, Andrea Lyn Events brings a personal touch to event planning where the client is made to feel like a guest at their own event!
