Our 1 1/2 year old dog, Augie, recently spent a week with Tony while we were on vacation. She had a training refresher course while we were away. It is amazing how much more behaved she is after spending time with Tony. She listens so much more and is a pleasure to be around. I think she would like to adopt Tony as part of her family! I felt confident that Tony would take excellent care of her while we were away and am so thankful for his caring and kindness! He far surpasses any expectations I have had about his services!

I've been training and showing dogs privately and publicly for 15 years. I have experience teaching everything from basic obedience to competition agility. I have worked with all sizes, breeds and, mixes from every group. I have experience working with reactivity and aggression of various forms and severity. I have a large toolbox so to speak and I train the dog in front of me.

We are new to this office and have been SUPER impressed. Our cat was very sick. They were super helpful over the phone and got us an appointment the same day. The doctor, nurses, and the rest of the staff were AMAZING! Everyone was so kind, understanding, and helpful! Our cat wound up needing surgery. They explained everything thoroughly to us and took TIME to make sure we truly understood what was going to happen and the outcome. The doctor spoke candidly, yet showed extreme care and understanding of our fears and worries. She was very reassuring and went about the procedure. Our cat had to stay at the hospital and although I worried about him, we really didn't need to. He was given excellent care while there. We received a phone call EVERY DAY from the doctor to keep us up to date about our cat and once at home they STILL contacted us every day to check up on how he was doing. When I called in to ask questions they made sure to answer them thoroughly and took the time to make sure we understood the answers. I am over the moon with this veterinary clinic and highly recommend anyone to take their pet(s) here! A side note: Many of us face financial hardship when needing to care for our pets. They were very helpful in giving us alternative solutions on how to pay our extensive bill.

Dog training brings the two things I'm most passionate about together - dogs and helping people. For me, it's not just about helping the dog and teaching it new things, it's about creating a family, about helping owners learn how to understand and help their dogs. I truly want to make every home I visit a Gray House, a house where dogs and humans come together to be a family they can love and cherish.
In 2016 I lost one of my best friends, a dog I fostered since he was 6 years old and was one of the best dogs I've ever known. In the process of adopting a new dog, I went through depression and chose to help myself by helping others. I had trained under experts while fostering years ago, but had never attempted to make it a living. Now, I offered my services as a small side job, but the need in the area for a personalized approach to dog training, especially one offered in the owner's home, was a niche I could fill. The work ended up filling not only that niche for my clients and their dogs, but filled my own heart with passion and happiness.
The best interest of both you and your dog is my priority. That means I don't just train your dog, I educate and coach you on the why and how of training your dog so that you can take the reigns of your dog's training and move forward. I work with both you and your dog on an individual level to establish a basis of communication you both can understand and appreciate. This communication is the foundation of your relationship and helps your dog learn to trust and respect you.
Dog training involves a lot of nuance and feel which cannot be translated over voice and video only; it must literally be felt out in-person. Although I do offer online support for my clients, I do not offer strictly online training programs. That being said, I do my utmost to uphold safety standards while working with my clients one-on-one.
I will wear a filtered mask for the entirety of every training session with my clients. As often as possible, lessons will be held outside, at times in second location as to ensure social distancing for as much of the lesson as possible and to reduce the amount of contact I have with the owner's household and belongings. Upon request, I will wear disposable gloves during training lessons, which will be safely discarded after each lesson.
