I have the highest regards for Kristi. She made my dog into a new fur baby. I was afraid to walk Bella because she was a hyper puppy. After 3 hours with Kristi, Bella and I have walked over a mile per day. She has no reaction to other dogs. Kristi takes the time to talk to you and remind you of what your responsibilities are to keep your dog on the proper path. If you think training is not necessary you are wrong. Bring your dog to Kristie the Dog Whisperer. She has neighbors or friends scheduled during the training to walk with her with your dog. Great socialization which Bella needed. I so highly recommend her . Kristi kept Bella from going back to the shelter. THANKS KRISTI from the bottom of my heart.

Communicate with your dog through a balanced way of training. Stopping problems before they happen and fixing the ones have cropped up. Making training easier for you so you only have to be consistent at home. With many options based on the time you have or how involved you can be in the training.

My fiancé and I adopted a Rottweiler from a shelter back in March. Due to the untimely circumstances of having to put down my 18 year old beagle the day before we were to bring Bella home, Bella and I got off to a rocky start. My fiancé and I reached out to Miranda to get some help in disciplining Bella. Miranda did a great job assessing Bella's potential and was very honest with us that Bella required training, but the tips and tricks she taught us were very simple and easy to put into practice at home. With consistency, Bella has become such a great addition to our home. We practice with Bella every day and we want to extend our thanks to Miranda! She took a sad experience and turned it into a positive one with her training expertise and guidance. Bella and I are now best buddies and certainly can't imagine a life without her. Thank you Neverland K-9 Institute!

I help families to address any behavior problems by creating and executing a personalized training plan. We will work through the program systematically to achieve the desired results so you can enjoy spending quality time with your dog rather than fighting with leash pulling, jumping and nipping.

The training/behavior modifications I provide are all about building a relationship of trust and respect. This allows us to have what we really want....a life we can enjoy WITH our dogs. We also have to have gentle follow up for times when we are tested. Everything I share builds a bond of trust while building respect in YOU and your family as the leader. The dogs appreciate this relationship too!
I love working with dogs! Being able to meet so many different wet noses and happy wagging tails. I also love helping people grow closer with their dogs. I really enjoy knowing I helped make a difference. 🙂
I have always had a passion for dogs. When I was growing up, I wasn’t able to have dogs due to our living arrangements. However, this didn’t stop me from interacting with all types.
I found inspiration from my Aunt who also loves dogs and always had at least two running around her house. I always enjoyed my time interacting with them and enjoyed learning from her as she also trained service dogs.
When I was older and my living arrangements changed, my first dog was a Rottweiler and that’s when I really learned about earning a dogs trust and respect. Let me just say that trying to out muscle a Rottweiler will wear you out fast!
While looking for a career path that would allow me to work with the dogs whose company I enjoyed so much, I happened upon a business idea where I could pick up several clients’ dogs and go for a nature hike. It was during this time I saw how many people struggled with behaviors in the home as well.
This lead me to search out Behaviorist Training for myself. I learned about WHY a dog does what they do as well as ways to work with them to correct unwanted behavior. My primary goal was to find methods that were simple, effective and would foster a better relationship with dogs. (I have never been interested in “forcing” dogs to do what I want).
I wanted methods that would encourage dogs to follow my lead and teach them what is acceptable in a kind way. Currently my pack consists of another Rottweiler named Havoc (don’t let the name fool you, he is actually very well-behaved!) and a Terrier named Coreen. They mean the world to me as I am sure your dogs do to you.
My goal as a dog trainer/behaviorist is to help people live with their dogs without stressing over behavior they don’t understand or cannot fix. I want to show you how your dog can be another member of the family. We all want to live in harmony with our dogs, right? I want to help you achieve this!
