I've hired Chef Torres and Coa Catering on various occasions, and have always been pleasantly impressed with the quality and creativeness of his craft. He's particularly talented when it comes to accommodating various food restrictions. He perfectly catered a dinner party that included vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free individuals. A true Gem!

We celebrated my 60th birthday party and the banquet room is beautiful. The food is great and the service was spectacular! Lou the owner is such a nice person and was very accommodating to our needs. He had block party the same day of our event and work endlessly to make our event special. My guest were very happy with the service and the food. Would definitely use their services for our events!

My Female DJ company, Into Fields Live Entertainment, LLC was contracted to work my clients wedding on Saturday, May 25th at the History Strawberry Mansion building in Philly. I've worked with many of catering companies before and I must say, Birtchtree was my all time FAVORITE team of professionals. The #1 thing that impressed me most upon arrival was their team of FEMALE caters! We had an entire group of WOMEN running the show including my FEMALE PHOTOGRAPHER Manayunk Photography, Lauren the FEMALE WEDDING COORDINATOR & myself DJ Neeek Nyce. Their entire staff was super friendly, nice, accommodating and very attentive keeping my clients entire wedding program on schedule. As a female owner, I am super SUPPORTIVE of female operated businesses, especially having one of my own. Normally when working with Caters, they tend to forget about serving the DJs, & Photographers. Nope, not Birchtree! After all the guest were served, the caters were nice enough to bring me and my assistant our plates to the DJ table instead of us having to hunt them down. The food was DELICIOUS, tasty and still HOT (It happens, our food is normally cold by the time we get served..lol). All of the guest were fed their salads and entrees ON TIME, and the wedding program was 30 minutes ahead of schedule for us to go straight into Dancing.I received many of compliments from their staff of how great of a job we've done entertaining their guest! If you are looking for a RELIABLE team of Female Caters, BirchTree Caters is definitely the way to go! I am sure we will do many more events together at their establishment! Sincerely, Vernique Fields aka your Favorite FEMALE DJ :) https://www.intofieldsliveentertainment.com/about-vernique

Three of us hit the Westmont Diner for breakfast on Saturday morning. Â I was fresh off a night of bachelorette partying, so I needed a substantial but healthy meal to get me through an activity filled day. Â Westmont Diner delivered. Â We were seated immediately, and within minutes we had coffee and water and our orders were taken by a friendly waitress. Â In no time at all, my sister had her scrambled eggs, her bf had his "meat lover's omelet" and I had my egg white omelet. Â All three came with potatoes that were served with onions and peppers, a nice surprise since we were all expecting the usual shoestring hash. Â My omelet was filled with tomatoes, fresh spinach, zucchini and some feta. Â I did not detect much feta, unfortunately. Â However, I greatly appreciated the fact that fresh spinach was used, as opposed to the water logged frozen stuff (Crystal Lake, I'm talking to you!). Â My sis enjoyed her eggs, a rarity since she is very particular about eggs in general. Â The meat lover had no complaints. Â This will probably become my new weekend breakfast spot, when I want something more than coffee but can't bear to face all the kiddies at the Pop Shop... which is usually after any night when I have had more than two drinks.
How much does a Caterer cost?
Your expert caterer will be able to advise you on the most suitable menus and service.
What should I look for when choosing a Caterer?
It is important to know the following before deciding on a catering company:
Event Specialists - Many caterers handle certain types of events on a regular basis, such as weddings and corporate events.
Different cuisines - Caterers might specialise in different kinds of cuisine. Some caterers may provide a fine dining experience while others excel at barbecues that suit company picnics.
Special requirements - If you have special requirements for the food or a specific menu in mind make sure your caterer is happy to meet those requirements.
Venue - Your gathering might be taking place at someone’s home, a venue or outdoors. It can be helpful if your caterer has worked at the venue before.
Tastings - Ask for a tasting to make sure the food is of a high standard. Most caterers will prepare one for you at no charge, allowing you to assess the quality of their cooking before you hire them.
How do I check a Catering Company’s credentials?
You could look for caterers with a foundation degree, higher national diploma or degree in Professional Cookery and Culinary Arts.
Before you choose a caterer, you could read testimonials and see pictures of their food on their website.
You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read reviews from past customers, too.
