My husband and I attended a wedding here last night.  The venue is beautiful, the bar is fully stocked (and they accepted credit cards), and the kitchen very accommodating.  I am vegan, and my husband is vegetarian, and they made sure to find us at our table and let us know they would be bringing us our plates separately.  Also, they let us know which of the prepped buffet entrees we were be able to eat.  We also found out that their kitchen is nut free when one of our table mates inquired, as she has a nut allergy.  The views of Fore Street with the holiday lights still lit were beautiful in the evening.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Great place. Went in for some coffee and to stock up on cheese and wines for a cocktail hour on the boat. Perfect spot for it and nice staff. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already made reservations for a return visit. The hotel is converted from an 1895 armory which makes for a very distinctive exterior. The interior is very tasteful and traditional. The people are friendly (front desk, valet, wait staff). Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the bar before and after the theater and breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. We loved the location in the Old Port area—lots of interesting shops, restaurants and bars.

Let me commend you first off on your exceptional local craft beer selection. 28 taps, 27 local and the obligatory Miller High Life for the broke hipster. Every dish was delicious, ribs, fried chicken, hush puppies, mashed potatoes, collard greens, Mac and cheese and the best biscuit anywhere. I had the mustard sauce on my ribs, a nice change from the sticky sweet tomato based sauce. Rib meat fell off the bone, just the way I like it, low and slow. Fried chicken had a nice coating with a touch of sweetness. Highly recommend, a nice addition to an already world class restaurant scene. Go Portland!

Lake & Co is incredibly creative and such a talented team of professionals! Elegant food at an affordable price and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They really take the pressure out of party planning.

Had a great experience - amazing beers, great vibes and fast service. Can get pretty busy and food offerings leave something to be desired but overall great place.Will be back!

Very Impressed! I can't say enough great things about this company! I decided to hire them for a rehearsal dinner for my nephews wedding and from the minute they pulled into the driveway we knew it was the best decision we could have made. These woman are friendly with great personalities, professional and work as a team like clock work! The food was amazing and the presentation spot on! Nothing was left out or not thought of. Communication was amazing right up to the minute of the event. Will definately use this company many more times in the future. They take all the stress out of your event and help make it a very enjoyable expercience! Great job ladies! Thank you all very much for a job well done!
