I was in yesterday for my second time and the food is fantastic!! I ordered Boudin Balls, Fried Catfish and french fries. The Boudin Balls were good but after meeting the owner, Richard, he let me know they will be changing them and cooked me up an order of the new ones.... OMG! They are so delicious!! The fried fish is so good, too! It's served with two pieces, a side and a hush puppy for about $8. The fish is big and tastes super fresh. The french fries are good and crispy with a Cajun seasoning (I think) and are great as well. They have also gotten a small cooler with stuffed chicken, crawfish pie, crawfish grillers, boudin and andouille for you to take home and cook. I bought the Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya stuffed chicken and a crawfish pie. I just had the crawfish pie and it was sooooo GOOD. I'll be preparing the stuffed chicken for dinner tonight and I cannot wait to try it. I really want to see this restaurant succeed because the food and the service is amazing, and it's right inside of a Walmart which is perfect to have lunch before or after you do your shopping. I can't wait to go back and try different items on the menu like the gumbo. Hopefully, when I do go back they will have the sweet tea that I requested because you can't have good creole food without sweet tea!
