Hi! My name is Emily and I’m so happy you’re here! A little history: I first got into photography as a teenager when my late grandfather passed down one of his film cameras. I’ve since transitioned to digital photography but still love to dabble in film. Aside from a photography course I took in college, I’m a self-taught photographer, learning and honing my skills through books, online tutorials, engaging with other photographers, and snapping photos of anything I’m inherently and spontaneously drawn to.

I love to photograph people in any and every capacity. However, Weddings and engagement photography are my absolute favorite types of storytelling because subjects' spirits are so amplified. It's a photographer's dream to be invited in on such an intimate occasion. I have huge respect for my subjects. I love getting to know my clients, engaging them and making them feel comfortable and then occasionally stepping away to let moments happen while I compose them against a landscape.
