What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

More than anything it is searching for what will make your image different from the pack, what will bring forth beauty and uniqueness. Also, not merely understanding your camera and light, but listening to a client to create what they envision.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What would you like to happen during your portrait session?
What sort of portraits do you like?
Would you like to bring along any props or ideas to add more personality to your images?

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting people. I have been doing this for 20+ years, and I have met some of the most wonderful people.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was an International Photographer Trainer, and I traveled what felt like non-stop. Every person I knew said, "why do you not work for yourself?" And, truthfully, I threatened (lol) to start my own company for years. Finally, with the urging of my husband, I took the plunge and have never looked back...all the years of training working for a significant corporation gave me the skills I needed, but not the freedom. I love the freedom of being a small-business owner. My advice to anyone considering starting their own business is, "Go for it! Do not wait years! What is the worst, you have to go back to work for someone else? What is the best....you are free! Happy! Making your dreams come true!"

Why should our clients choose you?

Experience! This means understanding cameras, lighting, computer work...but more... at RedRock, we pose, talk to you, find out who you are, and create the images you want. Please read our reviews....they say a lot about us.

Fast turn around...I believe in deadlines, and I get my work done. This means you see your images 12-72 hours after taking them, and you also get your purchased images back super-fast.

RedRock prides itself on its excellent customer service, creativity, fast turnaround, and AFFORDABLE pricing.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I cannot take your portraits remotely, yet all ordering can be done this way. Also, I do graphic design and photo restoration work, so yes, this can be done remotely.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We offer a private studio that is regularly cleaned, and of course, we do portraits on location. So, we can meet you anywhere...your home, a park, anything you can think of.
