The best part was how Nikolai made me feel, even though I am a front facing writer and dj, it can be awkward to "pose" for photos. I checked into Rose on April 21st at 7pm, gave birth on the 23rd at 4am and was discharged on the 26th at noon and from start to finish was really treated amazingly, from the food all the way to the woman who walked us out to our car when we were discharged.
The labor and delivery nurses (both Britneys' and Summer who was training, Tim even who gave me my epidural) were outstanding and wonderful. After they left to go home, I was so excited to see their face when they returned for another shift. They were extremely gentle and talked me through contractions, my epidural and all the hands on stuff they had to do.
The nurses in postpartum were just as kind, (Sarah, Barb, Mandy, Ashley and I'm so sorry for forgetting the other amazing nurses) and really made me feel like I mattered and were so patient after my c-section. Barb was there on the 26th and made our discharge as smooth and as fast as possible after we were so ready to leave to go home with our newborn.
I was so nervous about giving birth but Rose certainly made everything about my long labor and emergency c-section nothing to worry about. I sincerely thank all the nurses, doctors and staff who kept my baby girl and I safe and I truly hope I am living in Colorado when we decide to have another child so we can deliver another Rose Baby.

The awesome thing about Faith is that she is more of a lifestyle photographer so she was able to really draw our son's personality out through the photos. Which says a lot because as I said before he doesn't offer that often. Faith put him to ease and had him laughing/smiling in no time. She also was able to capture some very expressive pictures of him that are just beautiful. We did bring a few Pinterest ideas with us but other than that we had no idea what we wanted and despite the fact, Faith was able to bring out the best in these pictures.
