Beau was the perfect photographer! We are from Albuquerque, NM and had our wedding in Mancos, CO. Beau was excellent with communication (better than we were! ) and made planning as easy as it could have possibly been. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly. He met us at the Great Sand Dunes for our engagement session and captured the most amazing photos! He was jumping in and out of bushes and rolling in the dirt to capture the perfect shot!! His willingness to travel anywhere was second to none. He was even willing to travel to Albuquerque if we had wanted (7 hrs). He had to travel across Colorado for the wedding but arrived a day early so we could do a walk-through of the venue to make wedding day photos a little smoother. Beau had a great way of making us feel like we were hanging out with a friend who just so happened to be taking pictures, while remaining extremely professional. He truly has a gift for capturing special moments as they happen. We received our photos shortly after the wedding and they are better than anything we ever could have imagined! We love the attention to detail and the love that was captured from our special day. We would (and do) recommend Blue Spruce Photography to anyone and everyone who needs a photographer for their wedding day! Beau was a wonderful photographer for our wedding! Beau was simply amazing to work with and I would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a wedding photographer. I first came across Blue Spruce Photography while browsing photographers on The Knot. Little did I know that he would be a vendor at a bridal show in Denver, where I won a free engagement session. We knew the moment we met with Beau for our engagement session that he would be the one to photograph our wedding. Beau is very professional, listens to your needs and takes absolutely stunning photographs. Not only does Beau respond to emails in a very timely manner, he walks you through the different packages he offers and what to expect on your wedding day. He met with us at our venue a couple weeks prior to scope out different locations for photos to ensure everything went efficiently for our wedding. We received a sneak peak of our wedding photos just several days after our wedding and our entire wedding gallery within three weeks. We were simply shocked at the quick turnaround time and the high-quality photos we received in our gallery. We chose the package where we received two small albums and one large album. Beau was excellent before, during and after our wedding. He was great at communicating with us before the wedding, even though we had major time differences because my husband and I were in Korea at the time. He was very accommodating during our engagement shoot and made us feel really comfortable. On the wedding day he made sure to get the shots we wanted and took lots of great candid shots too. What do you love most about your job?
I love capturing genuine candid moments from the most important day of someone's life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a second photographer for several years developing my craft. I now have a videographer and two second photographers in my company.
Why should our clients choose you?
While capturing beautiful portraits is very important, I take pride in the candid moments I capture from the day. I find value in the portraits about the love and affection a couple shares with a beautiful Colorado backdrop framing the photo. I am also good at getting photos of people that don't really like their photos taken.
Photos are important but so is having fun on your wedding day. I am very involved with the planning leading up to the wedding. All of my packages include a venue scout before the wedding. I hope we can setup a phone call to discuss the other ways I prepare to do my best work.
