Please feel free to send me a text or email, my contacts are available in Bark and that guarantees an even faster reply, or make sure to include your number in the message you send me. Two things matter in a portrait: who we are, and what we want the portrait to tell about us. My portraits are all about you. I will craft every image around who you are and the story you want to tell. My ultimate aim is for my portraits to become your ambassadors: I want them to represent you, your passion, your love, your success, your uniqueness, your hope, your grits, your creativity and your ambition. In a word, your humanity. This is my portrait philosophy.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

The first secret to a great picture is to build a good vibe. The subject and the photographer are in together. Some people are camera shy, some are camera comfortable. Maybe we're born that way, but there is a lot of room for change – we just have to give it time.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

It's important to have a clear idea of the output since the beginning. In digital photography, a good third of the output is achieved through editing: this is not to say that the equipment and the shooting skills don't matter, simply that the time you would spend on pre-production and in developing has not disappeared, but simply it turned into editing.

What do you love most about your job?

To me, photography is all about the beautiful interaction you have with the people you shoot. As a pun, I say it's "deeply superficial", or "superficially deep": that is, you would say that nothing is as shallow as photography, as it seizes an exterior instant, and yet it can be the most meaningful and rich means of expressing a story.
The best part of my job is seeing the happiness of people when I hand them the results. Sure, it's a job, money gives you a living and it's a form of recognition, but when a client emails me "Thank you again so much for bringing my dreams to life! ", that is priceless.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was originally an academic with a passion for photography. Then I felt the need to transition, as taking pictures became my favorite way of engaging in a never-ending research about humanity.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have a PhD in philosophy and I think that my particular vision shows through my portraits and the stories they tell.
I was born in Italy, my mom is French-American, and I travelled all over the world: I have a multi-cultural sense of esthetics from which I can pick the best expression for every job I am entrusted with.
