He's local and he arrived to our house on time, and was great with the kids-- very interactive show and ALL the kids loved it (The adults did too)- I would recommend him to anyone having an event that needs some entertainment. This place is great. I drive past it all the time (as do many in my neighborhood) but today I stopped in for the first time. I was greeted by a woman named Sherry. Notice that I said greeted. This has never happened to me in a Spirit store or a Halloween Express. She asked me if I needed any assistance, and was patient and very helpful while I asked her a million and one questions. I told her I wanted to look around, explained what I was looking for and she let me browse, but then checked back in with me a little later to see how I was doing. I guess I'm so used to going to stores where I'm thrown a recited "Welcome to ______...." as I walk in, and then being ignored until I'm ready to check out, that I really was pleasantly surprised. After that, Sherry was kind enough to walk me through the store, showing me around while she explained the different sections. She even let me take home a list of their available rental costumes. The fact that she took the time to do all this blew my mind. As for their inventory, the costume selection is great, and they also have a wall displaying all the wigs they offer. Sherry informed me that they operate year round and often supply costumes for local theater productions. They clearly know what they're doing here. I will definitely be coming back for my costume needs from now on - not only because the service is so great, but because Ibsen is a locally owned Omaha business. The pop-up Halloween stores that show up in September and are gone by November 1st are not here to help out Omaha's economy. Shop local and shop Ibsen. I will be.
