My approach combines intelligent presentations with situational humor and customized, audience interaction. I typically perform in a "strolling" situation, like during a cocktail hour, mingling with guests and entertaining small groups at a time.
We're a special duo - clown and magician. We provide entertainment for large events - company outdoor and indoor events, family reunions, grand openings, etc. We also provide instruction for young and old - balloon twisting and/or magic. We can entertain individually or do special combo packages - magic show plus balloon twisting and face painting - for parties.
Rich has been doing magic since he was 7 years old. His uncle was the Great Waldo who performed in the 1930's in Chicago.
Linda began as an magician's assistant to Rich and twisting balloons prior to his magic shows. When she wanted to volunteer at a hospital and learned that latex balloons were not allowed - she learned how to face paint with non-toxic products so she could bring those into her hospital experiences.
A typical childrens party begins with face painting (Linda aka Klinker the Clown) then goes into a magic show by Rich, and ends with a balloon 'workshop' with hundreds of pre-inflated balloons used to 'teach' the kids how to twist their own dogs, swords, hats, and lots of other silly shapes.
An adult show usually begins with Klinker distributing balloon flower bracelets to each person, then a comedy magic show that is designed to adults of all abilities (mobility and memory) from Rich and Klinker.

Turning a hobby and charity into a business allowed us to expand our audience. Then it became even more fun for us as we received so many smiles and laughs. It has become a fun way to share our love for being silly.
We are members of professional associations (World Clown Association and Clowns of America - Linda) (Society of American Magicians and International Brotherhood of Magicians - Rich and Linda). Linda was awarded the 2019 All Around Clown gold medal after competing at the World Clown Assoc conference. We continue our professional training as members of local clown and magician groups.
Online magic shows are possible with Zoom. This works best for small groups. The most difficult aspect is the audio, especially for the magician because the audience is usually muted. Not easy to judge the reaction when you cannot hear the laughs. However, our feedback has been positive, especially during the shutdown days of covid.
