Describe your creative process.

First, we ask a lot of questions. We try to get at the essence of what the challenge/problem is. Once we know that - adn a lot of other kinds of info - we begin the creation. The creative process for us is all about getting any and all ideas out on the table, sifting, rearranging, and sometimes just looking at everything from different perspectives until we arrive at the solution. It's like putting everything into a big mixer, and then letting all the ingredients marinate for a bit. Out of this primordial "soup", solid ideas begin to materialize - sometimes fully formed, and sometimes little by little. Everything is possible and we don't close off any avenues until a real direction begins to take shape.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the process of creation. Part science, part art form, and part just being open to all the possibilities, the process is actually a bit mysterious. I firmly believe that everyone has that creative process. Just think back to when you were a child. It's there...it just sometimes needs room to freely flow. I love also working with clients to unlock their own creative potential through the project I'm working on with them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Wanted to be my own boss...to have the flexibility to work (and play) on my own time. Also, a feeling of accomplishment in over 20 years of helping clients achieve their goals for their own businesses and organizations.

Why should our clients choose you?

While I've been at this for a long time, I still approach everything with an open mind. My experience helps clients not to waste time on going down unproductive rabbit holes as I guide them to a solution. As a designer, I can create thousands of solutions. But the only one that helps my client is the one that will work for them. And I try to make sure I can quickly get them there with a great - and creative - solution!
