I adopted a new companion about six months ago, and after getting some time to know each other I realized that I would needed some assistance from an expert. Though she’s mostly pretty chill at home if nothing’s going on, my new bestie is a bit hypervigilant and quite reactive, both inside the home with guests and passers by and especially while out on walks. Annamarie is fantastic! I have known Annamarie for six years since she has been training Harley. He is now the best dog ever. I'm constantly getting compliments on how well behaved he is. Recently, my son has had some challenges with his dog, Pookie, a pomeranian. He had behavioral issues which were unnerving and we were at our wits end. Annamarie started training him and we saw an immediate change in one day. We then decided to hire her for a week and the results were spectacular. I was saving dogs in the desert, rehabbing them and finding them forever homes. There was a dog that I couldn't figure out (she was completely feral, I had to trap her and couldn't touch her) I hired a trainer for some insight and when he came to my home and saw my set up (I had revamped the house into a dog house with separate yards/fencing/rooms etc) he was like you are really good at this, you should be doing this for a living. I had a full-time job with an insurance company, which I didn't love, and was just helping dogs on the side because I saw the need for dogs dumped in the desert to be saved. He talked me into training under him and I then quite my job with the insurance company and never looked back!
I have been working professionally with dogs for over 20 years, and ran a dog rescue for over 15 years. I've trained for other LA based dog rescues and have years of hands on experience with every breed and temperament.
Since the pandemic I have opened up my training to remote training for certain types of issues clients are having that I'm able to help with via guidance and FaceTime or Zoom call training. We have also used this form of training for follow up sessions after an in person session was done and they still need some help in certain areas that we are working on.
We have been able to provide non contact service for our clients that have been working from home during the pandemic. Most of our regular dog walking clients either work from home or switched to working from home during the pandemic and we have been able to design a routine that works for each one specifically regarding their wants and needs in regards to social distancing, masking, sanitization etc.
