DJ Goyo was my DJ and musician at my wedding last August - and from start to finish was exactly what we wanted. He and his partner Eah played stand up bass, drums and harp during the ceremony. It was beautiful and unique. They both sat down with us prior to the wedding to consult about what we wanted before, during and after the ceremony. I was very specific with my requests, giving him a list of names to announce and going over the program and timeline - which is important so that everyone involved in the wedding is on the same page. And he knew my obscure venue really well (San Francisco Theological Seminary) and was very helpful as a consultant about setup, lighting etc.He and Eah pulled everything off perfectly. Goyo kept the program running on time and also made the day fun and and unique. He did a great job of playing the Armenian music we had given him for traditional dancing; he played specific requests like Thievery Corporation and the Beastie Boys; and he was really outstanding at playing cool, interesting music that set an ambient vibe during cocktail hour or got the party started on the dance floor. Most of all, I knew I had scored when my relatives were happy with the Armenian dancing and when my hipper-than-thou LA-scene friend said "This guy is really good. Where did you find him?"If you want a top-40, stuffy DJ, he's probably not your guy. If you want laid back, fun and unique, DJ Goyo is it.

Nik and Harvi have been in the entertainment business for quite a number of years and always deliver the best of the best. They have DJ'd a number of family weddings for us in past 5 years. They were also the guest DJ at nonstop bhangra in SF back in March and DJ Nix definitely tore it UP! The crowd was going nuts man! He seems to be a pretty well connected fella with all his fan following. I started keeping up with their monthly mixes that they post on their website, my favorite is the January 2014 one. I slap it in my car during long drives. If you're looking for someone with experience and professionalism, they're you're go-to guys!

This time last year, I moved from Boston for a fresh start. One thing that kept me active through my job hunt was GSK. My first season my teammates were very inviting and made me feel apart of a team right off the bat.
After my first season when I was on the fence if I was going to stay in the area or move back East, I thought of how many new connections and friends I made through GSK which told me to stick around. This was one of the best decisions I made to stick around.
Going into my fourth season, I'm still on the same team and my confidence has grown/social skills have gotten better adjusting to life in the Bay. Even though we are competitive with each other, it's a big family.
I have even joined another league in the city where I will become captain of a team this season and it would not have happened if I didn't make GSK my home league. I will continue to play in this amazing league which is convenient as I live in Oakland and as well as the game start times which allow me to get back to the East Bay from work in the city. Highly recommended for new transplants!
Looking forward to going to war with my teammates this season as well as becoming more social with other teams in the league!
