As the Founder of AFC, I love being able to immediately help Facility Managers, and Decision Makers, by solving the headaches that naturally arise when it comes to keeping their facilities clean. What inspired you to start your own business?

When I was 15, I worked for a cleaning company, and the owner was the best boss ever! He treated all of his employees to breakfast on Saturday's after we cleaned a chain bookstore. He took us out to lunch often and if we worked late, dinner as well. He paid above the average that other cleaners made - and all of that inspired me to want to be able to do the same one day with my own company - and here we are! We not only pay our cleaners (internal customers) 20-40% above the market wage, we give out recognitions, awards, gift cards, and bonuses. We take them out to eat and see what their long term goals are. We've even coached one into starting his own business. This is what inspires us to grow - so that we can continue not just employing workers - but empowering them to reach their goals!
