It's all about timing and positioning. The best photographers know when to be patient and wait, and when to capture a fleeting moment before it's too late. You've also got to think carefully about the final picture - there's more to a great photograph than just documenting what's happening.
Generally I like to meet the client face to face, since it's much more relaxing for them and allows us both to go into greater detail about what we want to get out of the job. We'll talk about where and when the client wants the shoot to take place, what sort of style they're going for, whether they were inspired by any particular image or look, and what kind of medium they want their pictures delivered in. It's all about what the client wants and how well I can deliver on their vision.
The happiness that my photographs bring people. Ever since I was an amateur it's always been a thrill to see people react to a beautiful picture or a unique moment caught on film or digital, and now I get to do that while also making a living from it!
I spent quite a few years working retail and was frustrated by the lack of opportunity to express my creativity, as well as being managed by people who clearly didn't care about me. At the same time I was fielding requests from friends, family, and eventually complete strangers to take their photos and cover their family events. Eventually enough people were asking that I quit my day job and I haven't looked back since.
Not only am I a highly skilled and experienced photographer, but I'm also an excellent people person. someone who gets along with everybody and knows how to bring the best out of models. If I'm hired I can guarantee the highest standards of quality and customer service, as well as a warm and friendly relationship and a willingness to bend over backwards for my customers.

Oktay was wonderful! He undertook my request to take photos of my son’s large 50th birthday party at a very reasonable rate. He communicated really well right up to the event and turned up early to check out the venue before he began. He took over 100 high resolution photos and the shots were inventive, creative and there were many fabulous groups and individual photos for us to choose from. He uploaded them online very promptly and we were able to choose a large selection from which to make a photo book and a photo canvas as our birthday gift to our son. Oktay put together the photo album in a very creative way and presented it to us very soon afterwards. I would highly recommend him for any project as his professionalism, helpful and friendly manner ensure you will be delighted with his service.

We couldn't be happier with Lloyd's photography services for our civil ceremony marriage. His punctuality was remarkable, arriving a generous 1 hour early to ensure everything was in order, even speaking with the registrar to ensure a seamless process. Lloyd's professionalism throughout the day was outstanding, and his ability to keep us relaxed was truly appreciated. We were so impressed by his quick turnaround time; receiving our beautifully edited pictures just two days later on the morning of the 4th was incredible. Lloyd's creativity truly shone through, as he introduced fun games that helped capture the most natural and memorable moments. The quality of the pictures exceeded our expectations; each one was meticulously edited and simply breathtaking. We deeply regretted not inviting him to join us for lunch as part of the family, as he truly felt like a cherished part of our special day. We're thrilled to have already booked him for our upcoming Indian functions and cannot wait to work with him again. Lloyd's contribution to our wedding day was invaluable, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking a talented and professional photographer.
