Yes - the right equipment is important, and we’ve invested heavily with currently the best camera/lighting setup in the world. But the art of a great photograph lies in the way you make the subject feel. If you’re able to make that person feel special in that moment, the photograph takes care of itself.
We’d ask the customer what their dream outcome is, and we’ll then promise to not just bring this vision to life, but to make it 10x better too. We’re ready for the challenge :)
For us, it’s that glint in the eye of a customer when we show them how amazing they look on our camera. We’ve had lots of happy tears in the last couple of years, and while we don’t expect everyone to cry, we love showing people how truly amazing they look.
Imagine a ‘people person’ and then x that by 100. That’s me, so I’m told. I’ve always had a photography background but got caught up in a corporate banking for longer than I would’ve liked. In 2020, I realised that I didn’t belong behind that desk, and I needed to be making people happy every day. What better way than to start my own passion project business? The Snapshot People was born.
Anyone can pick up a camera but the service we provide stretches way beyond the photos. We care about you, and you’re now a friend in our eyes; not just a customer. Have a phone call with us and you’ll see what I mean.
All of our photoshoots are face to face, in a live environment.

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful Mark was as our wedding photographer in December 2023. He was attentive and worked hard to capture all the perfect moments throughout the ceremony and reception. His professionalism and warm, calm attitude kept me at ease the entire day and I knew we were in safe hands. The photos are beautiful and from a personal point of view I feel Beautiful in the way he has captured us. Lax was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond to take great shots on the day and worked tirelessly to help us find the best poses / compositions. It really made our special day even that more special.

Brilliant. Sean completed a sensitive project for two charities to promote access to services, including interviews with service users. The quality of footage was excellent, as was Sean's approach. He created a warm, safe space for users and staff involved, enabling the creation of genuine, impactful content. There were bumps on our side in completing the work, and Sean went above and beyond in project managing us to get the filming and editing completed. In general he was responsive, listened well and quickly understood the brief, and was a real pleasure to work with. We'd recommend exceptionally highly
