I wanted to do a 35th Birthday photo shoot and good friend recommended me to try Jasmin. Because this was out of my norm I was super nervous, however Jasmin kept telling me not to worry and she got me and everything was going to come out great. Bill was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the get go he was interested in what I wanted the event to be. He was pro-active with communication. Periodically checking in with me to let me know he hadn’t forgotten about my event. His setup for the event was very professional. The venue manager commented that his was the most professional setup she had seen. And during the event when we were showing some videos, he noticed that there was too much other noise happening, so he very tactfully requested the noise level be reduced so all could hear the videos. Guests commented after the event as to what a great job he did the night of with music and getting people up dancing. Great evening, to which Bill was a great contributor! Thank you Bill! Hiring Jon as our wedding photographer was an excellent decision. During the ceremony, he worked meticulously to gather all the appropriate shots. He could set up both posed pics, then fade into the background at key moments to grab candid, easy-to-miss moments. In the 4 hour period we hired him for, he snapped over 500 pics.
The next evening, after some light editing, we got the pics and they were gorgeous! It is clear Jon has a good understanding of light and composition, and was able to capture numerous stills and details, making excellent use of focus for intentional background blurs and doing some interesting wide-angle shots to fully appreciate the venue. I would definitely recommend.
