My family recently had a chance to try this place for the first time. We ordered two grilled shrimp dinners and a grilled salmon dinner with potato salad, baked potato, collard greens and the honey cornbread as the sides. I appreciated the variety of sides available and that there were non-fried and vegan options. I do think it would be beneficial to note on the menu that the other offerings like the chicken and whiting are available grilled or fried or as salads because I think other customers would also appreciate the variety.Aside from that, the food was delicious. Everything was so flavorful. It didn't taste very heavy or greasy at all. We ordered for my Southern grandmother who's a picky eater and even she really enjoyed it. She said the greens and potato salad reminded her of her own which is a big compliment coming from her lol. I believe we interacted with the owner/cook when we called in and picked up the order. She was very friendly and professional. We are happy to support a small Black and woman-owned business and will definitely order again.

The room was perfect for our group. Pretty room. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Loved all of our dishes ordered. Come and visit this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
