The food here was absolutely amazing. The buffet (we went on Sunday) had a very large selection, more then I've seen at other Indian buffets. Everything that we picked from tasted delicious. We ordered food for our Son's first birthday Party and were pleasantly surprised by the food and the quantity they provided the food was an instant hit among the guests. The owner was very cordial and accommodating to all our requests and even provided us with the Hot pack to keep the food warm until it was served, which i believe no restaurant does in the catering business. Parking can be tricky if area is crowded but the parking Meters that are facing bayleaf restaurant outside are convenient if u find a spot and are free on sundays (no idea if Saturday is also free) food has a nice variety and under 15 bucks the buffet also includes a drink that was placed on the buffet. Other than the mini salad bar and the 2-3 item dessert section, the Buffet has vegetarian, chicken as well goat options. A single minor negative thing i witnessed were the bathrooms, the one I entered was kinda messy and had no napkins to dry hands. More...

I’ve tried many different Indian restaurants in New Jersey and I don’t leave reviews on yelp normally but honestly after eating here today something made me write this review. The service above all else was above the par and the quality of the food was on point with both vegetarian and non veg options. Thank you for helping me and my family make some great memories - I am grateful for having been referred here as opposed to the normal Edison Indian restaurant options! Excellent place!The restaurant look clean, classy but with reasonable price. I came in during lunch buffet. I like the fish curry and the lamb curry here. Customer service is very good. I have eaten here in numerous occasions (birthdays, graduations, even stressful days haha) and every single time it has always been a wonderful experience. The food, no doubt, is the star of the show. The breads, curries, and desserts are all so full of flavor! You wouldn't want to miss this, trust me.As a cherry on top, the people here are incredibly friendly. They are really dedicated to serving delicious food and giving their best to the customers. Fresh, hot, extremely flavorful delivery (chicken biryani, tikki masala, and naan). Naan was actually forgotten, but the restaurant's response was very positive and they took care of us with a smile. As pretty much the only Indian food restaurant in South Orange they have most of the market cornered. With that being said the food is very good. This is a great place where you can explore the wide selection of foods in a very friendly and welcoming environment. Portions are normal and the service is now better than ok. It's wonderful.
