I have been teaching music for more than 25 years, and I call myself a "teachaholic": just because I love what I am doing! As a singer I have teaching, performing and recording experience in various genres: jazz, pop, rock, gospel, musical and classical. As a piano teacher, I have a strong classical education. Therefore I am specialized more in classical piano literature. However, when it comes to accompanying my voice students, I am ready to play any genres!

Sofia is knowledgeable, fun, patient, with a good sense of humor and a relaxed vibe to help you feel safe getting out of your comfort zone so you can grow. These are my first voice lessons and I knew upon consulting with her before I started lessons that I wanted to work with her. I'm already making progress and can't wait to see what happens long-term!
Do you want your kid to learn singing, ear training, theory, and music reading? Is your life too busy to travel to a studio every week? If so, I can help! I am offering online and studio singing lessons for ages 4-11. In-person lessons are $20 for 30 min and online lessons are $15 for 30 min. In-person studio is in Kenton, Portland OR.
My students not only learn a skill on their instrument, they learn a love of music and the joy it brings to their life. These are music lessons your child will thank you for! My students study piano, voice, and The Ultimate Music Theory lessons with me. I teach preschool lessons through the KiddyKeys system. My students study classical and popular styles on piano and I offer lessons to students of all ages.

I have been taking lessons with Ms. Bronaugh for 5 years and have found her to be friendly, positive, and willing to be flexible. She is a gifted musician and knows how to explain new skills in a way that makes sense. Returning to music lessons as an adult was intimidating at first, but she has often allowed me to select music that interests me and understands when life gets busy. With Ms. B, it's more about learning and challenging yourself than being perfect. This makes it easier to try new things without fear.
As both a professional singer and a trained musician, I offer all the best things I've learned along the way! I love to create a playful and fun environment for my students. I work with all skill levels and I will help you get out of your comfort zone, build your confidence, and hone your technique. My goal is to get the best sound from your unique instrument. About me! I’m a multi-instrumentalist who graduated from Brown University.
I offer one-on-one voice and acting coaching for anyone interested in connecting more to this expressive part of themselves. With over a decade of experience in performing and teaching musical theatre, opera, jazz, pop, R&B, and more, I am truly available to help you sing what you want to sing with a trusted, reliable, and practically physical technique. Ease off the pressure singing lessons usually require.

Nathan is one of the warmest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting with. He brings such a positive energy to every single lesson without fail, and practices a kind-hearted approach in his methods. He celebrates your victories, and he works with you to achieve your goals for your instrument.
For shyer people who are afraid to open their mouths - like me - Nathan is the perfect choice. However, don't let his warm smiles and enthusiasm fool you; the man is a genius. Knowledge of material is tested and proven through teaching, and this man has it in spades. As a former teacher (different subject) myself, he has proven his ability - time and time again - to communicate concepts and ideas I had never heard or thought of, in ways that make complex subjects easy to learn and fun to master.
Can't recommend this man enough. 10/10
