Great Gatsby Roaring 20's Jazz Band for Hire
This band was created out of the demand for a jazz band to dress up and play in the style of the Great Gatsby movie and the Speakeasy era. It quickly became a new theme that we have continued to play at events and parties since the beginning of that movie. When 2020 hit we were due to play a lot more Roaring 20's Themed events except the pandemic hit and postponed all of the parties for 2 years. Now in 2023 we have played a few events per month because of the demand for this theme to liven up a party.
The music from that era is some of the best written songs in the jazz era. Songs like "On The Sunny Side of the Street", All of Me, S'Wonderful, It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing, Honeysuckle Rose and Puttin' On The Ritz and so many other great songs that have been sung by all the greatest singers of the era like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Fats Waller and Bessie Smith.
The style of that era was very sophisticated and fun and so it makes for a very fun theme for any event.
