30 yrs. in classroom teaching experience with Elementary and Middle School ages. Graduated Summa Cum Laude with Bachelor of Science in Music and General Education from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Moved to LA in 2016 and offer beginning Piano, French Horn, Singing, and Acting PLUS ALL Basic subjects essential to young students growth and diligent efforts that bring big results academically.

What do you love most about your job?
I love kids and watching them learn and grow. I feel that it's just as important for our young kids to learn through the fine arts lens for greater social emotional development. PLUS it stimulates their creativity and imaginations to see more possibilities. THAT is exciting to me and I love sharing that with these young friends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My mom was a music teacher, Piano-Organ-Voice instructor plus she played 6 other instruments including Violin, Viola, Guitar, Ukulele, Accordion and a sweet Real wooden Autoharp that her uncle gave her when she was 10 yrs. old. To be her daughter was to be full of music going in and around me since before I was born...which is quite incredible that I knew no other way to live and be than to express the music within me in many different forms. I also discovered that I am an incredible story teller and Actor- so of course, that creativity was born out of the imagination and diligence I learned within the Arts.
Why should our clients choose you?
Especially if you live in the Los Angeles area- I'm very accessible and flexible tutor/Piano instructor and if you're needing a great dedicated local space with reliable experienced reader- I'm here and easy to get to. If you live outside of Los Angeles- we can always tutor on zoom and I've worked with a few students during pandemic this way. I love in person but I know we can accomplish anything we set our minds to together.

Yes- providing the student has a dedicated work space with few distractions ready and adult help in sending me what's necessary to help them learn with correct materials.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We were all wearing masks when it's mandated for in person lessons. And now that restrictions have eased and vaccination rates are higher, I give option to work without masks for in person sessions.
Voice, Piano and French Horn lessons
Voice and Piano lessons: 6 yrs+, all lessons include a complete introduction to reading music- singing or playing notes, rhythms and learning basic skills and technique for performance or continuing to grow your skills. I incorporate movement along the way to help students connect concepts, gain confidence with a sense of rhythm and timing which enhances all music and is necessary for performance.
Actor Self-Taping Studio plus Reader
I have a dedicated self taping studio space in my home and offer high quality taping, editing and provide my expertise as an Actor to helping you as a reader.
