My sons have been taking piano lessons with two Lesson With You instructors for over two years. Im thrilled with their progress. My oldest son had make tremendous gains in his repertoire complexity, speed and accuracy in playing. My youngest child began lessons at age 7 (now 9) and has never had an in-person lesson ever. The teacher really understand the proper piano methodology and pacing for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. I love not hosting anyone in my home or having to drive each week to lessons. The company matched my kids to teachers based on our schedule and the teaching styles we were looking for in an instructor. And no contracts? We love the flexibility of paying one lesson at a time. Works great for our family and they really can play the piano now! A wonderful experience.

My teacher Norm is terrific to learn from. Learning to play the piano as an adult beginner has been easier than I thought it would be. I am doing remote lessons, and they are working out great. The best part is that compared to driving around, I am so relaxed being at home with my own piano. There is nothing missing from doing lessons remotely, just like being in the studio without all the hassles of traveling. Each week,I work on a variety of pieces, classical, popular, new age, jazz; It’s all so interesting to me. I also am working on playing by ear, and even learning blues improvisation. Even those weeks where I haven't practiced much is ok; We'll do something new like theory, chords etc. Wish I had started lessons as a kid, but I am really glad I finally did.

I’ve been doing piano lessons with Norm almost 4 years. I have learned so much in that time. The lessons move at a pace that I really like. Not too fast, yet challenging enough for me. I love playing piano. It relaxes me and gives me a time out from the rest of the world. I look forward to the lesson every week, cause I know I am going to learn new things. I play whenever I can. I'm thrilled that I started when I did, because I now have years of practice giving me a boost when start new pieces. I enjoy all sorts of music, popular, classical, blues, folk, new age, jazz. Each style of music teaches me something new. I can’t think of a more fun and absorbing thing than playing piano.
