She was attentive, helpful, knowledgable, and helped me take care of me. Her calm and gentle nature put my kids at ease and she even taught me the correct way to hand express breastmilk, a skill that no one had shown me before. Postpartum care is so important and Amanda makes the mother feel mothered in the best way.
I also used Samantha for placenta encapsulation. I have used three different individuals for placenta encapsulation and Samantha stands out as she is only certified APPA encapsulator in the KC area. I loved that she provided a transportation kit for my placenta. Such a small thing made a big difference when it came time to head to the hospital as I already had the kit in our bags and I didn't have to remember to grab one of our coolers and plastic bags. She was wonderful about helping support me through the first few days and checking in with me to see if I needed anything. I would definitely use her again.
