Shannon did our family photos yesterday and I’m already in such awe of our sneak peaks! I’ll start by saying that she was very patient with our chaotic family! We did two shoots, one of my husband and I - the other of us, our son, and my in-laws. Like most moms, I was running behind. Even thou we were losing daylight she produced the most amazing images. Being photographed can make anyone feel awkward, I really appreciate how comfortable she made us all feel. She managed to keep my 4.5 year old son excited and cooperative (despite his best effort to make the goofiest faces). To top it all off, she photographed our dogs; that is job in itself. She traveled to our home (location of our choosing). Before our photo shoot began, she took the time to make sure our outfits coordinated well, and familiarized herself with each of us individually. During our shoot, her attention to detail was flawless. Tucking in flyaway hairs, adjusting our scarfs, and fluffing my skirt. She is the most accommodating photographer I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. Shannon, Not to get overly emotional but you have no clue how beautiful you made me feel. Being comfortable in my own skin is very hard for me. You really captured something special. It’s like you captured my confidence ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Where do I start? My fiancé planned a surprise engagement over this past weekend in Washington DC and Jac & Mac Photography went above and beyond to help him capture such a special moment. From the beginning they were incredibly responsive - always willing to answer questions and remain in contact to help create the perfect plan. They even went so far as to scout out the location the day prior - saving the moment from being accompanied by a reflection pool that had no reflection… (the water was unexpectedly drained); they worked quickly with my fiancé to come up with a backup plan. They were extremely personable and made the photoshoot friendly and comfortable. The photos came out beautifully and the turnaround for the digital gallery was impressively fast. We couldn’t be more happy with our experience working with them and unequivocally recommend them for any special moment you want captured.

We planned our wedding from out of town. We chose Daissy from looking at the photographs she had posted on her website, as well as from reading her reviews. We were planning a very small wedding and Daissy had a small photo package that fit our needs exactly. Daissy was extremely easy to contact and sounded excited to be our photographer. We did not meet Daissy until the day of our wedding and she was everything we had hoped for. She was unobtrusive before, during and after our wedding, and when our photographs came, we were surprised to see photographs of moments, not just pictures. She was personable, excited, friendly, and happy to be there, and we could not have asked for a better photographer for our wonderful day. We recommend Daissy for anyone’s wedding or special occasion, without hesitation.
