Adene is an absolute rockstar and in just one session she helped our 4-month-old puppy, Sasha so much! Before we even booked our first appointment, Adene called me for an intro as well as gave me some advice on issues we'd been having with our pup such as constant barking and attention seeking behavior. She was incredibly accommodating and traveled to my home despite it being a little far from her primary work location. She brought such a calm and logical approach to training, and Sasha instantly fell in love with her. She listened to the issues we'd been having, and catered the session towards addressing those issues. Not only did Adene help train Sasha with basic commands, but she gave my partner and I the tools to continue her training after she left. She offered experienced and professional advice on where to put her crate and playpen, what to put in the crate with her, and how to approach behavior problems. It's been only a few days since our training session, but Sasha has already shown so much improvement, and we are so happy and so relieved! Overall, I would recommend Adene to anyone looking for dog training. She has a gift!

Honestly, I was so, SO lucky to find John. I lucked out in being able to sneak myself into his very busy schedule and I am so glad I did! My very active Australian Cattle Dog mix needed attention, affection and exercise and that included lengthy walks during the day while I was at work. John provided excellent service and my dog absolutely adored him. What really sold me on Pupster/John was when my dog received a nasty bite from another dog and needed medical care as well. Our roots were planted in Brooklyn, NY where an incredible community of pet owners and enthusiasts allowed us to become who we are today. We’ve been able to make friends with and care for nearly two hundred individual pets with thousands of service calls. Like many others, we faced considerable crossroads with the events of 2020 and ultimately decided to relocate to the Catskills. With eternal gratitude for all of the love and support we received in the city, we are as excited as can be to serve our new community and to provide care for our new furry friends. While managing an independent pet food and supply store in Williamsburg I discovered the breadth of the pet industry. On a daily basis I had the opportunity to play with dogs and be a resource for pet owners regarding everything from nutrition to scratching posts. I saw how a local business could become a valued part of a community, and I sought a way to be of even greater service to pets and their owners. I wanted to get out from behind a register and provide hands on care for cats and dogs. I have spent nearly three years dreaming up a small business to allow me to do that. Starting my own business has given me the freedom to harness my passion for animals while fulfilling my desire to create and forge my own path.
