Zeke went to AHK9 training program in September. We are happy with the results and we continue to build on them everyday. We love the place command because it allows us the freedom to do chores, cook dinner, or enjoy time together as a couple without Zeke constantly begging for attention or getting into trouble . The place command has also helped Zeke to calm his mind tremendously! He is such a happy, active puppy but he now understands place is time to relax. Becca taught us the importance of practicing this command and it’s been a game changer. My dog Sam is a 10 pound/1yro rescue mix terrier. When he arrived at my house in September, he had zero boundaries or training; his litter was a surrender to a rescue group. After a few weeks, my stress level was maxing out bc of his marking in the house, going #2 in the house, excessive barking, crazy on a leash and not listening. I was recommended to contact Almost Heaven and Sam entered training at ground zero. After two weeks of Becca’s very hard work, Sam is a true joy to have home. He rests in “place” while I do my thing around the house without him roaming, barking at the window, peeing and chewing. He can walk very controlled on his leash and with small corrections and continued work on our part as owners, he is and will continue to be a well behaved and focused dog. Before sending our 2 dogs to AHK9, I felt overwhelmed with them every. single. day. and I never felt I was truly in control or the leader of my dogs in any situation. My dogs are 75 and 100+ lbs, so it was unacceptable for them to be out of control! I was always afraid they were going to hurt someone when they jumped up to say hi, they were always tearing up my furniture, and one of my dogs had some aggression related to food and following commands and I was afraid HE was going to hurt ME! Sending our dogs to Becca was the best decision we have ever made. She taught us a way to communicate with them so that they can understand what we expect of them in any situation. She taught them to have a calm demeanor at baseline, and taught us how to continue honing those skills in the future. Her training provides a way for us to tell our dogs that we are the leader, we make all decisions, and they should trust us and feel safe with us. She has transformed our dogs and therefore our home and our lives and we are so thankful. I recommend AHK9 100% to anyone with a dog. Maybe anyone with any kind of pet! I think she could train my cat! lol. As owners, we dont realize how much we sacrifice for our pets and how much inappropriate behavior we allow because "dogs bark" or "dogs jump" or "that's what dogs do". It doesnt have to be that way! I’ve been wanting to write a review for Becca’s Almost heaven canine training for several weeks but I found it hard to put into words how much her training has changed Brady. And honestly our whole life. It was getting to the point were we didn’t know what to do besides giving him a new home. The thought of that broke my heart because he is such a sweet, loving dog who likes to please but had his “issues.” He would pace around and couldn’t relax at home in the evenings when I was there thus sending me up to my room so he wouldn’t make everyone crazy. The kids couldn’t eat around him for fear he would grab their food. We would hear him in the kitchen and think “what’s he got now.” He loved getting food off the counter and eating tissues out of the trash. And that doesn’t even count the pulling while walking or barking when people or cars went by. He is truly a new well behaved dog. Now he’s not perfect by any means but I can walk him with no pulling, let him be outside without him barking at everyone, hang out in the living room in the evenings and the kids are able to eat in peace. Before I knew Becca trained dogs, and met her dog Max and was so impressed with his manners and how well he listened to Becca. I knew that’s what we needed for our 1 year only retriever mix, Kyle. We had a few in home lessons in the fall, which helped us communicate better with Kyle, and teach him how we wanted him to behave around the house and toward others. Last month, he had a 1 week board and train with Becca while we were on vacation. He has been wonderful! When I took Goldie for her training she was very clingy, anxious, and could not sit still. After taking her for her training she is able to relax and just enjoy her life. We NEVER would have been able to take her anywhere with us, but now she goes everywhere. I can’t thank Becca enough for everything that she has done. Winnie, our 7-month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, greatly benefited from her week with Becca. Before training, Winnie would whine in her crate and refuse to walk in and ALWAYS rush out! Now she NEVER even attempts without being told to do so. Winnie would greet our friends, family, and strangers by jumping up on them and running directly to them. Now she remains calm and only approaches others when directly told to and when she does greet them there is NO jumping Winnie is now respectful and craves our leadership! Our sweet girl’s personality has always been so fun and loving, but now it’s heightened and that’s thanks to Almost Heaven K9 training! I just want to start by saying that I personally have not used Almost Heaven K9 Training yet, but I have been able to witness first hand the training that is put into each dog because I live 3 houses from Becca. I am simply amazed at what she does with each dog. As she is walking the dogs, they are completely under control at all times. It is truly unreal. If you haven’t watched her videos, you are missing out. Such transformations with each dog. I have a 15 week old Sheltie, and I can’t wait to see what she can do with Maisy!! My family picked up our 11 month old sheepadoodle tonight from “boot camp”. She had an intense few days with Becca and it shows! Clover had always been an anxious dog who paced around trying to see/find our kids. She panted constantly and never settled down unless she was in her crate. Tonight after our going home lesson she came home and was put in place on her new cot. It was a miracle! She laid down and hung out just watching us make a snack and clean the kitchen. This had never happened. It’s only been a few hours since her training but I’m already a happier mom. I cannot say enough good things about Becca Wood and Almost Heaven K9 training. Our sweet Koa spent the last two weeks training with Becca and the transformation is amazing. My 9 year old and I took him on a walk this morning and it was so pleasant. No more pulling me down the street on the leash, chasing cars, or barking at everything and everyone we encountered. Koa is also so calm at home now. Dogs are a lot of work, and training one is not easy. Seeking out the help of a professional who does this for a living was the best decision we have made. I don’t even know where to begin. I was at a COMPLETE loss with my dog. Crying and anxiety ridden every single day. I couldn’t enjoy my dog, because the constant chaos she brought to my household was too much. She’s not my first dog. I’ve had many. I’ve always been able to train my dogs...especially potty training. Not Honey. She broke me. Thankfully a friend of mine referred me to Almost Heaven K9 Training. She had placed her pup with Becca and had amazing results. Becca and her methods SAVED me!!!! Honey is now calm, relaxed and much happier. I feel like for the first time since I got her in November....I can enjoy her. I look forward to having Honey with me, wherever I go. Without fear of Honey getting hurt or getting away from me. I was starting to have major puppy regret with my 6 month old lab. He had become an added stress in an already hectic household of 6! Until I found Becca! She taught him manners, how to follow commands, walk calmly, lay calmly and so much more. More importantly she also taught us humans how to be dog parents. Our lab Remi is completely changed and I have fallen in love all over again. He respects us, listens to us and is so much happier and calmer. Walks are an absolute pleasure. He is everything I imagined he would be when I first made the decision to bring him home! Becca wants her dogs and parents to have an amazing experience and never worry. We were excited to bring home our poodle but it became very stressful and annoying as he will jump on the children and every time we wanted to play with him it only lasted a couple minutes because he will jump and bite and go all crazy. We love going on walks and Choco only got to go with us once because he will pull so hard on his leash and it was not enjoyable to take him. Becca is great at working with dogs. Choco showed so much change after only a couple days of the training. We brought him home and finally feels like we can enjoy more our dog. No more jumping on the kids and people, no more biting, and yes more walks and freedom for Choco as he gets to spend more time with our family now because of his good behavior. This training is worth the money! My children just love Choco more now that they can walk him, and play with him. Our house is more peaceful now, and less stressful. More...

Sending our two Weimaraners to train at Almost Heaven K9 has been the best decision that we could have done for our dogs and our household. They are very high energy dogs and were often unruly and hard to manage in any situation where there was unfamiliar stimulus. With a baby on the way we knew something had to be done. Becca was amazing with transforming our dogs into two obedient, respectful and much calmer members of our family... while still being just as lovable and fun as they were before! She was awesome in keeping us updated through the whole process on their progress and we were grateful for frequent pics and videos since we missed them so much. I’ve been wanting to post a review since the day I brought him home but couldn’t (and still can’t) find to words to describe how thankful I am for Almost Heaven K9 Training. Thanks to Becca my life is forever changed. I was at my breaking point with my dog. Having a 70 pound German Shepherd running your life and house isn’t easy or safe. I wanted to get rid of him and I just couldn’t do it anymore, this training was my last hope. Within a day I saw improvement. I was already certain I had made the right decision by day 2 or 3 and now that my boy is home I am 100% sure this was right. The training never stops though, I know I will have to continue working with him forever so that he can get better and better. But she set a structure that I just couldn’t set by myself. She made my dog understand leadership in a way that I never could before. She showed my dog what it means to be calm (he has NO idea before haha) She completely changed my life and my dogs life and I will never be able to thank her enough. Me and my boy Zeke are happy now. If you are at your last straw with your pup and desperate for a change, you’ve come to the right place. This was worth every penny spent and every second I was missing my boy. I sent my 6yr old poodle mix for the board and train with Becca. We needed some work on our indoor manners. She did and excellent job sharping his skills and giving him freedom to be part of the family on place without us worring about him wondering off and getting himself into trouble. I loved the daily updates of his progress and her openness with his struggles. I am so thankful that we sent Emmet to work with Becca. She did amazing with my strong willed and stubborn German Shorthaired Pointer. We now can enjoy company and take him for pleasant walks. Almost Heaven K9 Training is absolutely the best! My Border Collie/Sheltie Mix, Remi was completely running our house! I am so grateful for finding Becca and what she has done for me and Remi! I couldn’t even take Remi for a walk without her pulling me down the road and she was a runner too! If she got out of the house she was already running down the street before I could even get out of the house! It was bad! Now after Becca’s Training Remi seriously is a different dog! Remi and I can go on Hikes together without a leash and she will stay close by and when told to come she always comes! If she gets a little distance between us she always turns and looks to see how far we are apart she knows when too far is too far! I don’t know where Remi and I would be today without Becca’s training but I’m glad we never have to find out because the relationship that Remi and I have now we wouldn’t have if I have never found Almost Heaven K9 Training! � We love you Becca! We sent our 8 month old English Springer Spaniel for the board and train while we went on vacation. We were sent pictures and videos daily of Jackson and his progress. Jackson was a good dog but out of control. Jumping on everyone and everything. He didn’t listen, wouldn’t walk on a leash and would drag us, basically would not ever be still. When we returned from vacation we were amazed. Jackson is wonderful now! He stays on place, walks on a leash with ZERO pulling. We have been going on walks everyday downtown, going in stores... he is a totally different dog. He is so much more enjoyable that he is calm and we are all able to be together without all the craziness. I would recommend almost heaven to everyone! She seriously works magic!!! More...

My husband and I were going crazy with our 15 week old beagle biting all the time and getting into the laundry and the trash. We knew he was young but we also knew that early training would be beneficial in the long run. We have had 2 sessions with Becca and we have noticed a change. He understands that the word "no" comes with a consequence, he goes to "Place" when told and hasn't bitten my little girls or us hardly at all. I've used the training techniques that I've seen through videos on here and it's made a huge difference! My dog Kenai is a husky mix and has the personality to match it. He was so destructive and would hardly ever listen. Ever since I've been using these training techniques he's been doing so well. He's more loving towards me and our bond has strengthened so much. Two lessons in and our dog is doing amazing!!!!!!! So thankful for someone who is willing to take the time to teach us and give us homework. We are now able to enjoy him more and not worry about what he is doing when we aren’t watching. Before beginning training, our dog Herbie was in charge of our house. He did what he wanted, when he wanted, no matter what he was told. He would hop from couch to couch, chase the cat, eat food off of the kitchen counter, and pull us around on walks. Now, with 2 training sessions with Almost Heaven K9 Training and the motivation that we have to continue working with him, he is calm inside the house and can stay on place when told. He doesn’t chase the cat or even attempt to reach things on the counter. Now, taking him on walks is so enjoyable. We are so thankful for the help and guidance Almost Heaven K9 Training has given us.
