Brittani was recommended by my coworker for training for our golden doodle puppy. We scheduled three lessons in our home before signing our puppy up for camp. We visited Brittani's place to see where our puppy would be staying and planned drop off during our vacation. We received updates every day, photos of Luna during her stay, and instructions on pick up day. We watched Brittani's training page on FB every day so we could see our girl. We used Au Pair for Paws to train our 3 year old Belgian Malinois and our 6 year old Dutch shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix who started getting in to awful fights with each other due to the Dutch’s high anxiety and the Belgians reactivity. We called Au Pair for Paws desperate for help and could not have had a better experience! Our Belgian could not pass another dog on a walk without ending up on her hind legs barking and growling. Our Dutch wouldn’t stop following my wife around and could not stop irritating our Belgian by sticking her nose where it didn’t belong (literally!) To say we were at our wits end with them was an understatement. Meagan came in like the super trainer she is and turned our girls around for the better! After both dogs went (separately) for the four week board and train program our Belgian can successfully walk by another dog without a reaction, we can also trim her nails without having to give her sedatives for the vet to do it, She’s crate trained, muzzle trained, knows place, and is successfully e-collar trained. Our Dutch had the exact same successes and she gained enough confidence to stay on place and not follow my wife everywhere. It is beyond a night and day difference in our dogs. My two dogs became aggressive with each other and I was unable to have them in the same room together, I couldn't walk them alone because if they say anyone/anything they would freak out! Once causing me to get dragged down the sidewalk by them. I came across Tara on a google search and she came to do an evaluation. I, 100% admit, cried when she recommended the 2 week board/train for aggressive dogs, but I was at my end and knew I had to try something because I knew they were good dogs but we needed help! My pups had aggression issues, separation anxiety and manner problems. Tara kept me up to date the whole time they were with her and I could see the change in them on the videos she would post! BUT...I could never imagine the dogs that were returned to me!! They are still the same crazy, silly, lovable Crosby and Zane, but they now play together and cuddle, and LISTEN to ME!!! I can play with them both off leash in the yard, something I would never imagine doing as Zane was a runner and fence jumper! I can walk them by myself and take them out in public! WE ARE ALL FINALLY LIVING OUR BEST LIFE TOGETHER!!! I am not one to normally write reviews but this was the best investment I have ever made! I would recommend Tara and Damien to anyone needing help with their pups! They are so loving and caring to all the dogs they board and train...I think my dogs may like them better than me Thank you Dog Wizard :)

She was on deaths door (Literally, she was scheduled to be put down the following day) and yet she was so full of life and love. All she wanted was a squeeky toy and some love! She showed me exactly how much talent I had with younger pups, as she tested my limits in training her. She is now my Demo dog for all my training services and shes only 10 months old!"
Rini - "Every dog is different, just like no two people are the same. Many trainers have a 'one size fits all' training approach and that just isn't going to always work. I work with the dog to see and feel how the DOG learns. That way its easier for them to understand exactly what we are asking of them. Some dogs are a little hard headed and thats okay. Others are super food motivated and so we'll use that to our advantage while working with them. Notice I said 'we'. I mean you (the client) and I. I love working with the owners and their dogs. While I do offer Board and Train options, having YOU work with your dog is the end goal. Lets get you two loving life together!"
