We teach you how to live with your dog. And we teach your dog how to live with you. It all starts with great communication. With over 40 years of experience, we’ve developed a learning method based initially on positive reinforcement (food, toys and praise). We establish a language between the dog and owner that gives the dog a clear understanding of the positive consequences associated with certain behaviors.

They got back to me the same day I had requested a quote. Kenneth spent time detailing the program/training, asked my goals for my shepherd, and answered questions I had. I went with the 4-week course and opted for the E-collar. He was
very professional. Training for my shepherd starts in about a month and am excited to see the results.

Danielle is a very intuitive trainer. She got my girl, Magic taken to the next level in her training and helped give me confidence while handling her. Her corrections and suggestions for both Magic and I as a team have helped immensely, we are complimented while out in public on what a well behaved dog I have. I look forward to continuing our training with Major Canine.

When used correctly, evidence-based positive reinforcement training is the most gentle and effective form of training. Positively trained pets are well behaved because they want to be, thanks to a bond built on trust. It’s Training Cats and Dogs values science, consent, safety, compassion, and choice, and rejects abusive dominance theory pseudoscience. Abby Hartman uniquely uses ethnographic research methods to help people and pets repair their relationships.

I am a strong believer that there is not one way to deal with any problem! I work with the owner and the dog to figure out the best training technique. I want your dog to be the best dog you can have no matter the circumstance. My basic obedience class covers basic manners (sit, down, stand, waiting at the door, heel, greeting people, loose leash walking, recall, place, etc.

April is knowledgeable and great to work with! She goes above and beyond to ensure that you understand the skills your dog is going to be learning and provides ample time to practice. I have attended several of her obedience classes and she has also provided pet sitting services for my dogs. I would highly recommend April and Shooting Star Services!

I have now taken both of my dogs to Pack Leader, My terrier mix did OE1 and she is a much better dog because of what we both learned! I am currently bringing my Mini Aussie to Puppy Headstart. Joann has been very patient with getting him more socialized. I highly recommend either of these classes to anyone. Its very evident that she will do whatever she can to help you and your dog/puppy reach your goals.

I trained my first dog at the age of 16 using "The Koehler Method of Dog Training". For those of you under the age of 40, W. Koehler trained most of the animals in Walt Disney's movies of the '50s and '60s. It became out of favor by some because of its use of "negative reinforcement". I also studied Cesar Millan, Dr. Ian Dunbar, Doggy Dan, Jean Donaldson among many others. The latest program I completed was Doggy Dan's.

Don was fantastic. We knew Karl needed some better training but weren’t quite sure what we needed to zero in on. Don helped figure out what he knew and didn’t know and we are now able to properly train Karl in a way that makes it easy for both of us. I can’t wait to see his progress in the coming weeks.

I love working with dogs and their people. Helping people have a better relationship with their dog is very rewarding!
Please see my website (CanineRevival.com) for LOTS more information and pricing guidelines for the many canine services I provide.
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Professional Dog Training and Dog Behavioral Training soon opened the door to other dog interests so I am also a Certified Canine Massage Therapist, a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer, and a FitPAWS Master Trainer.
Being able to provide all these specialized services has proven to be so beneficial to many of my clients. We are able to work with all aspects of the dog - mental and physical.
Many rescue dogs have fear-based issues. Did you know canine massage can help dogs that are fearful and anxious? You'll be amazed at what it can do!
Fitness Training, while important for weight-loss and general conditioning, will also help give a dog more confidence and it's really a great way to burn energy for those enthusiastic dogs that can never seem to get enough exercise!
Because of this multi-faceted approach to dog training, I feel I have a lot more to offer people and their pets than just the basic obedience class.
I have over 30 years of experience in the dog world and I know dogs. My goal is satisfied customers - both human and canine! I am truly interested in your dog's welfare and their relationship within your family.
I also offer a FREE, no obligation consultation at my training center in White Bear Lake, so clients really have nothing to lose but an hour of their time!
