Your dog will have a home away from home while working to become a more behaved version of themselves! All training is done out of the comfort of my home to ensure the comfort of your fur baby. Boarding in kennel facilities cause your dog stress, so you can take that off your list of things to worry about when your dog goes away for training with me! Can reach me directly via text or call at 813.

I like to take a balanced approach to dog training. I also take each different dog, personality and situation into consideration when constructing a training plan.

Angela trained two of our dogs and we were incredibly sad when she moved away. When Angela becomes your trainer she becomes much more--she is a wise mentor, a friend, and someone who is attached to your dog and your dog's success. She helped me to have confidence to do the hard work to have well trained dogs and while doing so, always did so with good humor. She is truly one of the very best in the business!

This is review #1 - the beginning. We talked to a few different trainers but none made us feel as though we were as important to them as they are to us. Kayla is a great communicator and we instantly felt comfortable leaving our Great Dane puppy in her hands at Kay's K9s. The facility is clean and offers plenty of air conditioned indoor space, fenced outdoor space, and all sorts of sights and sounds for a curious puppy. I'll be back with another review when we pick up our puppy.

I love helping relationships between dogs and owners and see them blossom together through training. Being proactive vs. reactive is key. Once my clients really understand this concept it is amazing what can be accomplished.
I always have believed that you should do what you love and success will always follow. I know there is a lot of discrepancy when it comes to techniques in dog training but I am here to show people- there is a better way, a way in which you will create a bond with your dog that you would have never imagined. Coming from a a place of understanding rather than frustration or anger- being proactive vs. reactive. These are the pinnacles of creating trust and respect and getting a dog to follow and look to you no matter what you come across.
My passion and love for animals goes back as far as I can remember- I ended up going to a Vocational Agricultural High School with a hands on program learning about basic husbandry and behavior. In 2007 I attended SUNY Delhi for Veterinary Technology. We worked with a local shelter and took about 30-40 dogs at a time and performed routine procedures and took classes on understanding behavior and handling. In any of our free time we were encouraged to go down to the kennels and work with the dogs to help them become more adoptable. It was a fantastic stress release for me and a great benefit to the dogs.
I did end up getting a job working in the Animal Wellness field but it was very unfulfilling to me. So, I started working with local shelters and rescue groups. I started fostering dogs and helping out with dogs that were owned by friends and family. After much indecision, I finally decided to make a change in careers and learn as much about dog training as possible. Real dog training, techniques that are based in science and most up to date and humane. I landed a job at major Animal Supplies retailer and was certified as a force free trainer. My heart is in this wholey. I try to make things fun and easy to understand. I have 10+ years of experience working with well over 1,000 dogs with all kinds of challenges from basic puppy culture to behavior modification for agression and reactive dogs, to advanced obedience- AKC Canine Good Citizen and the Public Access Standard.
