Paws & Pads: Pet and Home Sitting

Denver

Paws & Pads is a multi-service business specializing in in-home pet care services. My most requested service is overnight stays in pet owner's homes caring for their furry loved ones while also looking after their house. Some of my in-home services include: gathering mail/packages, watering house plants (lawns in summertime), light household cleaning (I.e. vacuuming, cleaning of small animal cages, washing sheets and towels that were used during my stay etc.) I offer 30 minute dog walkings as an individual service, as well as check in visits with pets who require less attention. Many of my customers who own cats prefer my check in service as opposed to an overnight stay.

What do you love most about your job?

There are many things I love about my job but the one that stands out is getting to know all of the animals I interact with. Each has their own personality and quirks, and it's fun learning how to click with them. Every single animal I've been fortunate enough to know over the last 10 plus years as a pet sitter has left a paw print on my heart. I can honestly say that I love every one of my furry friends!

What inspired you to start your own business?

My love for caring for animals was my biggest inspiration. I started pet sitting for friends and family members over 10 years ago, and as the years have gone on, my love has grown exponentially. It was obvious that it was my time to start my own business doing what I love.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am a reputable pet sitter and a pet owner myself, who has loved working with animals from a very young age. You can rest assured that your pets will be in excellent hands while you are out of town, at the office or having a fun night out. I have experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and ages, and am experienced with administering medicine to your furry friends. I also have experience with birds, lizards, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters etc.
