What separates us from other DJs is, we are "The Father & Daughter DJ Duo". I can play most types of genres but my personal preference will always be 80’s & 90’s R&B… those were great times to me. My daughter on the other hand is a huge fan of 80's & 90's Freestyle, R&B, House. She's more into the upbeat stuff. She also can play other genres as well.
Sharing what I love doing with my daughter is such a blessing. We are a family owned business and it is a learning journey for all of us. I'm so glad we all have a part in this as we not only make a living doing this but, we also grow from it as a family. I've always had a special spot for music as it has gotten me through life in very rough & highly emotional times. That moment you play something that hits someone so hard because of a special time in their life is priceless. It makes me happy to see people enjoying themselves especially in these difficult times we're in. We all deserve to have a break & a good time from life every once in a while. I was in my former job for about 14-15 years. I was losing years of my life (due to stress, unhappiness, uncertainty of injuries or possible death, and everything else that came with that job), and losing family time. I decided having a secured job with great pay & benefits wasn't worth shortening my life and losing my family over. I've DJ'd since 1989/90. I've taught my daughter how to DJ in 2020 and she picked it up real quick. I was looking for ways to start something for myself to prolong quality of life and spend more time with my family. I took a risk and started our DJ company. I thought it would be a great way to spend more time with family and share a passion with my Daughter while teaching her hands on business skills. We're still growing, but... I would make this decision over & over again as these are life long memories for my family. My life and my family inspired me.
Clients don't have to chose us but, if you've read my profile and can relate to what I've poured out to describe why I've started our DJ company... you'll know that I'll pour out my all on our service. Our reputation is on the line. We won't "pressure sell" you as I don't like it either. We are not a "budget" DJ service either, but our prices are reasonable as it is mid-level pricing for the DJ industry standards. Our company is new, but I've DJ'd on & off for 34 years. I can say all sorts of reasons for clients to hire us but, I think knowing the quality of a person is probably the best way to decide who you ultimately hire.
